Dana's rendition of What's love got to do with it was admittedly weak. But any singer will tell you that Tina Turner songs are HELL to do (in some ways, even harder than Ms Franklin's). Remember Tina's range starts lower than an alto so your options are to stretch below an alto or to bring the song up an octave. Trust me been there done that.
