I m hearing this statement for long from many actors and directors. But I believe that art can influence people. But the haunting issue is that people accept only bad things easily than good messages. There are exceptions like "Munna Bhai". Actors and directors should know how to present good messages. People will surely accept those, at least for few weeks. Be more responsible....
