Go for the flux, they don't make these any more and they don't even ship their own pads by mail. I was on the waiting list for one of these for a year until they decided not to ship them out anymore. mymybox customer service sucks. BTW good job on tri star.

yeah. even if u can get a used blueshark in PERFECT CONDITION, dont. luke got LUCKY cuz the one he got was a well made one and those are RARE. mymybox started slacking and just made really shitty bluesharks. maybe they discontinued them because they got too many complaints? o well i dont know to be honest with you. but i just purchased a cobalt flux with the black arcade mod kit anddddd i really hope its good.

in a nutshell. blueshark stops working at 170bpm 16ths.

well, from mymybox, i use Super Dual Box Pro for single only. it screws up when you're using doubles or versus mode. only works so great for single. any other adapters are fine.

bluesharks had problems because of the 2" thinkness. this one (played on this video) is a 3" with the bar that adds mopre realism than the 2" ones.

Dude how do you know fluxs suck so much dick? My fucking pad came with screws missing and wires fucked up, the service is complete shit at MMB. It may not be like that for you, but it is for me...they won't "gladly supply" me with another whole pad, I'm done with Blue Sharks...

I have friends that have had fluxes, i have played on them (new ones) and they all regret cheaping out for one instead of a blueshark. MMB service was shit for a while and they recently fired all of their employees and got new ones. They are much better!

IMO Bluesharks aren't worth the money...mine came shipped with 1 defective button, and it's been having connective problems, the bar is loose I find (I don't use it anyway) and it's just not very good to me. Fuck this, Cobalt Flux ftw.

well, him and i are getting bluesharks for chistmas (mine on b-day December 6th) and i got a PC laying around, an LCD Monitor, and a Copy of linux to use for Stepmania (sense SM runs best on Linux) and we're gonna build the cab from wood, then eventually build it outta better material

we're all set, we're gonna start building after we have 2 bluesharks

Question about the pad if you don't mind....

I have a Cobalt Flux and am quite unsatisfied with it. Can you compare the Blueshark to the CF and say it is siggnifficantly better? Or even go as far as to compare it to an arcade machine?

Blueshark is much better then a cobalt flux and you will hear that in every forum you look in. When comparing to an arcade mat it is very similar. the depressions in the pad are VERY similar and so is the over all feel.
