@BeardedHoplite controls was horible. Graphics looked like something for a 4 year old. Gameplay was as linear as civ 2. For the first time in my life I bought something that Sid made that I felt ripped off with.

im addicted to Civ 4 and all its expansions , but I haven't played the console version. Hey, this might be stupid but is there any board game version of Civ 4 ? You know, like Monopoly, if there is , it would be great to play it with family members.

There aint any Civ board game, though there are similar ones. I dont know the names but board games are actually a very well established field. There's a Starcraft, Warcraft, Dawn of War AND an Age of Empires III.

A good video podcast for board games ( and one of the best ) is The Dice Tower.

they did this to appeal to consoe players, hopefully to get more people involved in the PC series. The console game has less features, like a quicker techtree, and the game is shorter.

I dunno about the consoles, but it is kinda nice to have on the ds!

yes, but not on the same screen. I believe you can also play system link as well.

Well got to say that being 54 and designing games like Civ Rev is a really rare thing. Civ Rev was a great game and I'm not surprised by it's game title. Sid Meiers = Genius

Yea I checked at Gamestop and I had to resourve the game lol I can't wait if anyone is making a clan/guild in it send me a message and I would be more then happy to try out for it.
