I loved seeing all the photos of the dogs, it's wonderful what you're doing with them. We mostly only scooter with our mals and Sibes but I really would like to start agility with them, I just don't know where to start.
@ DarthRane - Yes, mals are intended more for heavy pulling than for quicker endurance running like the Siberian Husky, but I have a mal that could be Athena's black/white brother who clocks in as faster than all but my smallest Siberian.
Alaskan malmutes are more or less for heavy pulling rather than speed/agility. I understand your trying to keep them cool but having the hair cut but thats the best part about malmutes is their hair.
Neither of my dogs has ever had a haircut in their entire life. I don't believe in cutting a malamutes hair unless it's for health reasons. My malamute is the poofy gray one and Hermes is only part-husky so that is his natural coat length. You'd be surprised how fast and agile a malamute can be, mine has placed 1st above labs, aussies and other slimmer breeds in agility competitions, she can turn on a dime for a big gal! =)& my husky-mix is an agility champion.
Ok then the other dog, must have been younger in one of the pictures you took I know the other dog wasn't pure malamute cause you said so on the vid :P
Great video,I want to start agility with our Mal once shes old enough.

You've done a remarkable job training these dogs, and I also really like your choice of music. I love Beethoven! Yes, the dog walker is proud!
