  • a gas heater! hahahahaha im weak laffing here!!! oh the good ould days LOL

  • The Ciaran is Ciaran Mac Mathuna, he used go round the Country recording old Ballads and Folk songs, he created a huge archive!

  • End of part 3, Liam Clancy had a point - they didn't let him or Tommy talk too much, did they?

  • @WarmasterJoshmaul Well, that really wasn't Tom or Paddy's fault in this case. Gay Byrne kept asking them questions that only applied to them. Earlier in the show, Liam did a fair amount of talking. Overall Tom seemed to be the big talker of the group. I don't think Paddy spoke nearly as much as he did.

  • Was that Ciaran Bourke playing the flute in the background? It was fantastic anyway :)

  • @akfinneran

Close, I believe It was John Sheahan on tin whistle.

That is a different Ciaran. Ciaran Bourke stopped performing in 1974, and always had a beard.

  • my Granny Gazzi would jump up and do a jig. may the road rise with you my friend.

  • Classic stuff! . . . a gas heater and two tanks of gas! LOL.

  • Ha ha i know its gas isnt it!

  • Very interesting show. I see too that that's Paddy Clancy's family sitting in the row right behind Ciaran. It's too bad they didn't also talk to their family members on this show.

  • cant beat d clancy's

  • I love this stuff , old but good!!
