  • 8:38 Bond...priest Bond XD

  • This guy is epic XD

  • does anyone know what Cate said to the emessary of france guy???

  • @lisaAsmus080790 She said 'I understand everything'

  • I did not like the movie

  • That priest in black is James Bond!

  • The way She's staring at him XD XD

  • You're wearing a dress, Your Grace.

  • The French are portrayed as such libertines in this xD

  • the dress suits him

  • Vincent cassel is really a wonderful actor. Such range he can play anything from bad ass villain to a tranny hahaha Amazing!

  • just as offensive as the other. Grow up guys. Really, its only a film anyway :)

  • Gosh I am so impressed by the maturity of the comments on this vid...(sarcasm) @elm1230 AND @mak34237 you should both be ashamed cos you're both quantifying 'stereotypes'. Lifes bigger than that and neither of you should be citing phrases such as 'if you want to suck up to the fucking french' and 'I assume you've been assimilated with the usual inclination to hate the french'. Seriously, if either of you wanted to make a legitimate point you both f-ed up royally as you've both shown prejudice

  • Typical Frenchmen!

  • @mak34237 I'm not French but this is a terribly stupid comment.

  • @elm1230 Oh, I see you took offense because your french speaking, I feel so sorry for you!

  • @mak34237 "french speaking" wow another internet dumb ass. I guess your a brit should explain things.

  • @elm1230 Look mate if you want to suck up to the fucking french, that being really sad in it of itself, and defend there sorry ass, feel free I welcome it because it really shows how much of twat you really are. oh, and your not french...really? Why so offended?

  • @mak34237 I'm not offended I just thought it was a silly comment that's all. If that's how you feel about the french then so be it. I'm neither defending nor reprimanding the french I just wanted to point out the pure ridiculousness of your comment. I guess we shall just end it here since there's no reasoning with you. I imagine you've been assimilated with the usual inclination to hate the french. As a patriotic citizen of the UK that is. What's taken place is past history move on!

  • @elm1230 So are you saying that in this modern age and in the Elizabethan period the french are not characterized for acting in a way most befitting that of self-idolizing prepubescent girls? I'm English I am born with a dislike of the french I disagree with there inherent need to chew garlic eat frogs and surrender as the first shot is fired, which in fact isn't really the past considering given the choice they would continue to do those things, where are you from by the way America?

  • 1:50 to 2:00 EPIC!!!!!!

  • what is the name of the song the queen asked them to play at 4:36

  • Does anybody else feel sorry for that poor French ambassador? xD

  • @FrancisBFranceRP sorta but idk... Lol...

  • EPIC! that guy is wearing a dress XDD

  • Those red robe guys are fucking creepy

  • Why isn't anyone eating any of the food!? lol

  • 1:43 lolololololol !

  • @nightowlartist Time span is off? No there were lots of flaming homosexual and cross dressers amongst royalty in those days.

  • @WorshipInTruth

I didn't get it! Was he gay for dressing in drag,or was he mocking the queen...?

  • Why do they show the duke of anjou portrayed as a cross dresser? I thought that it was his older brother, Henry III, that was rumored to be flamboyant. Did the movie mesh them up together as one to save cost and time. Queen Elizabeth and Anjou were very found of each other and there was a part of her that really did want to marry him, but b/c she was so indecisive and afraid of marriage and giving birth, she finally turned him down. this elizabeth seems to have disregarding the duke very quick.

  • @JEarlofessex The proposal was actually from his YOUNGER brother, Francois. Henri, the duke and Elizabeth never actually met in person.

  • What is she saying when she talks in French?

  • @katbates1 She is saying "je comprende tout" which means "I understand it all"

  • @nightowlartist There is no reason to use the F word. It is insuting and rude.

  • I don't think the man was born and built to love Elizabeth I.

  • Wow. He gave her a perfect excuse to get out of the marriage.

  • there's a dancing english pirate ship....and james bond. this is just too much to handle.

  • god daniel craig is butt ugly...

  • I'm liking the "LOL Song" at the end of the previous part and the start of this one.. "Ha, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...! ENGLISH PIRATES!!!!" XD I love it!

As the dude said though, Spain was indeed the most powerful at this time - Kudos to Spain and Her awesome Empire!

  • I'd soo love to know what the piece is that's playing when The Queen Is Dancing With Robert

  • @MadPlagueRat Does anyone know who composed the music that is playing when they dance? it's soo beautiful :o

  • Why is the the Duke is female clothes o.O I do not understand his character

  • @animelover1992 It means, put it delicately, he likes to wear female clothes as well as men's clothes.

  • @animelover1992 hes a faggot

  • @gmanthebeast1 Again why with the F word?!?! RUDE!!!!

  • @kurotenshi2 fuck?

  • It's good to see a twenty-nine year old Daniel Craig before he was the well seasoned Bond. Here he looks a lot older than his age though.

  • Vincent Cassel fucking rocks the shit-house in this scene LMFAO! WHAT? What? What-uh? LOL!

  • i am AMAZED this hasnt been taken down; thanks for uploading!

  • my favorite movie, cate blanchett is extridinary!!

  • Who better to kill Elizabeth than James Bond. Eff YES.

  • ahah oh henri is so disturbing.

  • you'd have to tease my hair to no ends if I wanted it to set like that...I'd love for it to be decorated like that though.

  • the duke is a crossdressing dumbshit

  • @20PINKluvr

    I didnt get it!

Was he gay for dressing in drag,or was he mocking the queen...?

  • @videodude23 He was a flaming homosexual drag queen.

  • @videodude23 I thought he was mocking the queen as well. Once he explained it was clear that he was just a cross dresser. Whether or not he's gay is for you to decide since there are men who cross dress who are NOT gay. though it seemed like the male servants were a little cozy on the floor when they walked in.

  • au juex reminds me of the emperor nero

  • I loved both movies. They're like the first major hit movies to feature a woman with absolute power. Elizabeth sure kicked ass XD

  • OMG Daniel Craig is in this!!!! Woot!

  • what robert did was wrong, i would feel ultimatly betrayed if the man i knew since childhood who was my best friend, counselor, bodyguard, lover i mean everything most trusted person was secretly married and never told me. i would feel ultimatly betrayed. cause if he had truly trusted me and consider me a friend he would never lie to me wiht such a grave lie as to be secretly married, yet slept with me and make mockery of me infront of my entire court. i can never forgive that.

  • @Mandinko23 He was very lucky he's head wasn't on the end of a pike betraying a Monarch

  • ever since 28 days later I'm so creeped out by christopher eccleston

  • Imagine if she's like her father, she may have ordered Cecil be moved to the Tower and executed for trying to set her up with Anjou.

  • Awwww...poor Robert...

  • If all girls nowadays act like her, we are safe!

  • Could anyone translate what Elizabeth said in this scene: 3:13 ?

    Thanks~

  • @LionRegnum I believe she said " There is no need to explain your Excellency. I understand everything. "

  • 1:58 lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg! the guy is a gay! he really looked like a drag queen in that! hahahaha!

  • I laughed so hard---I need an attends.

  • HAHAHA OMG the french duke dressed up as a women was totally EPIC.

  • @Charmedfan2010 Hes acting GAY lol

  • @eve6261979 He´s an amazing actor!!!! , and he´s name is Vincent Cassel.

  • @Vampirica1707 Wasn't he also in Brotherhood of the Wolf?

  • @Aprann Yes, he acts too in that film ," Le pacte des loups" (Brotherhood of the Wolf)

  • @Aprann He's also in black swan

  • The french duke is bonkers! He says: ' You see something strange perhaps? ' while dressed up as a women! lol! pure comedy1 XD

  • I love you Elizabeth , mi mas grande personage de la historia con todos su defecto y virtudes me complace siempre mirar algo sobre ella la adoro su legado su grandesa y su bellesa

  • i realy like to know where can I get the musical piece, at the begginig of this chapter, or what is its name... hope someone could tell me

  • @jareagui

It's a Spanish tune, the title is "Rodrigo Martinez", and it is anonymous. You can find it on nearly every CD with Renaissance Spanish music. In fact, most of secular Renaissance music CDs should have it, as it was very popular.

  • @Elslein thank you so much!!! I'll try to find those cds.

  • That french duke sure has an odd sence of humour... and the ability to wear a woman's corset

  • Ahhh... Cate Blanchett. I love how you can say things in French AND Dutch [like in Elizabeth: The Golden Age] with such an ease and an awesome accent.

  • @anberry I hope i could say the same for spanish :(

  • Does anyone know what the music is at 4:38? what this composed for the film, or was this an actual piece

  • where's part 9

  • easy people.. its just a movie its not real.

  • Lol the French Ambassador is just like "Fuck.":

  • Anyone else think they did a terrible job scoring this movie? They play the same song over and over and it doesn't fit the mood at all.

The second movie has a great score.

  • The French Duke reminds me SO MUCH of Francis from "Hetalia" XD XD XD

  • @joyhorse13

lol I noticed that too. I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches Hetalia here.

  • This movie is filled with so many inaccuracies. Mary I was not fat and ugly, but was actually quite thin and plain looking, though certainly not ugly. There is no basis for the Duc D'Alencon being a flamboyant drag queen, or even gay for that matter, as the English often mistake the dandiness of the French with homosexuality. Perhaps the biggest inaccuracy is the murder of Mary of Guise by Walsingham! Mary of Guise (mother of Mary Queen of Scots, Elizabeth's rival) died of natural causes!

  • @ligreekguy

I don't think the director was trying to make an accurate historical movie here.

I can add to your list though. Lord Burley was never retired. He served Elizabeth his whole life.

The earl of leicester was never involved in any treasonous plots against Elizabeth either. And they remained friends until his death.

  • @abrondarbit

Very true! The problem, however, is that people whom are not students of English history go to these movies with the intention of learning facts, and this is why the whole thing is a travesty.

  • @ligreekguy

If people go to the movies to learn their historical facts then shame on them and they get what they deserve when they're corrected by people who read books.

  • @abrondarbit

Well stated! Alas, Hollywood seems to have replaced the great historians in the impressionable minds of so many people. Good God, look at The Tudors series! An utter travesty.

  • @ligreekguy It is only "suggested" that Walsingham killed her in this movie; it is not ACTUALLY stated that he did. The Duke of Anjou blames him, but we do not know if he actually did kill her.

  • Is it gay? Or is it just French?

  • Omg young Daniel Craig as a vilain?

  • She really likes that dance!

  • I will have one mistress here, and NO master!

    Massive ownage!

  • I agree with chilledoutkitty

  • I think this movie is entertaining and asthetically beautiful, but I have to say it drives me crazy when the Tudors are sensationalized beyond recognition because they're sensational enough. Elizabeth was 48 when she became engaged to Anjou, past her youth & marred by scars from smallpox, which she contracted early in her reign. She did not break the engagement for the absurd reason offered in this movie, but because the people were outraged & felt Anjou would involve England in foreign wars.

  • Elizabeth was such an independent, responsible person, never needing to depend on a man for anything and wion the hearts of many british people. she is my idol :)

  • @LorenaAwesomeChannel Not the british people, the english people...england and scotland were not yet united.

  • @aeronuk1 oh well you know what i mean :)

  • cross dresser O_O

  • bad, bond, bad

  • Vincent Cassel is amazing!

  • @Pilipilipalapapa do you know the character name of the man that cross dresses?

  • @woahlookitscathy His name is Francois. He is the Duke of Anjou and Alencon.

  • WHAT THE FUCK 007 so shitty! lol

  • The face of Elizabeth when she looks at the duke dressed as a woman is priceless!!

  • Lord Robert is a HIDIOUS DUDE why would Elizabeth( best queen ever!))like him?

  • @TheIsabella91126 whattt joseph fiennes is hawt! whatchu talkin bout.

  • @LorenaAwesomeChannel To my opinion he is UGLY and HIDEOUS if i eva saw him in real life i would LAUGH in his face!!

  • Why did the Kevin Costner look-alike killed the other guy at the end of this clip?

  • @Acme633 Because he knew he was in allegience with Walsingham (sp?) to protect the queen. He was a spy for Walsingham......

  • pasenla a castellanoooooooooooooo hay latinos q tambien la vemos

  • OMG!!!The French Duke is...a CROSS-DRESSER??

  • gender confused idiot!

  • flamer!!

  • your wearing a dress your grace. lol! best part of the movie

  • @ptevlin What was his name? lol

  • he was pretty too damn......

  • your wearing a dress your grace........

  • James Bond beat the crap out of that guy :o

  • @xxrebirthxx he beats the crap outta everyone :D

  • 8:50 Your grace, I've come to 007 your whole fucking country.

  • @BoiledBlackMilk the priest kinda looks like Daniel Craig.

  • @Hunte9753 , lol, it IS Daniel Craig!

  • @Hunte9753 that IS daniel craig

  • "I AM NOT YOUR ELIZABETH! I am no man's Elizabeth! If you think to rule me, you are mistaken! I will have but one mistress here, and no master!"

  • IT'S JAMES BOND! lol

  • Whatttttt ajajajaajaja

  • Vincent Cassel is awesome in this

  • The duc is soo...imature

  • 6:04

    OUCH....that stings

  • "I will have only one mistress here and no master". By this, the Queen was referring to herself as the "mistress" and that she will never allow herself to be ruled by a man (master). At a very young age, she lost her mother Anne Boleyn, and watched her Catholic sister ruled by her Spanish king consort Philip II while he was in England. Without a "master" who in those days would automatically be expected to take over matters of state after marriage, she remains the mistress in her kingdom.

  • "and watched her Catholic sister ruled by her Spanish king consort Philip II while he was in England"

Mary I and Phillip were married for 4 years (1554-1558). For much of his reign he was absent, especially from 1556 when his father abdicated and he became king of Spain. The little time Phillip spent in England he acted as stipulated in the marriage contract: he didn’t meddle in the government of England or in his wife’s Court affairs, therefore, Elizabeth’s sister was never ruled by Phillip.

  • I love when Elizabeth pushes Robert away and says, "I am NOT your Elizabeth! I am NO man's Elizabeth! And if you think to rule her, you are MISTAKEN!" She wasn't playing games when she said that!!! B)

  • 2:00 ... Need I say more? Good thing this was just one French king... Right?

  • @kirby28645

hehe, He is just a Duke thank god. But this character is fictional in all but name. The real Duke of Anjou was an ugly man 22 years younger then Elizabeth who was 46 at the time they met in reality. He ended up marrying Catherine Medici.

  • Vincent cassel is so funny, he usually plays bad ass characters so it's refreshing to see him playing this crazy character. He's one lucky guy being married to sexy MONICA BELLUCCI!

  • Yeah that asshole nephew is really sick at the stomache, alright. In there with an orgy going on, jaming music and cross dressing. What a acheing stomache. HHHHAAAAA!

  • the duke in a dress!! hahaha

  • @shirgen6 oh. well I didn't know that. I thought it might be England but I wasn't sure.

  • Elizabeth's a lesbian??? Omg no master only mistress.

  • @harleyW4eva I thought the Mistress she was referring to was England.

  • @shirgen6 I think she meant England will have only one Mistrees ie her and no master proclaiming to the world that she wouldn't marry

  • @harleyW4eva

no, OMG, see, by mistress, she meant one of the male sex. It's much easier with french, u have a diffrenent word for both genders of every word. By the phrase, no master only mistress, she meant that she want her spouse to obey her like a mistress, not to boss her around like a master

  • @MegaWeike mistress is the feminine version of the word master. So there is a different word for each gender in this case. And I'm sure she meant that England will only have a mistress (meaning a female ruler) and no master (meaning a male ruler) .

  • lol the shot at 8:41 is incredibly james bond-ish

  • love the dress

  • yeah cate should have won the oscars not gwyneth!! its so unfair!

  • It's a crossdresser!!!!! LoL.

  • oh the french... LOL

  • 5:48 with that simple sentence she changed the world!

  • @avalon2468 how? i don't understand, can you please explain? thanks

  • @willdenman sure back then women were considered stupid or feable and they needed a husband to tell them how to live but when elizabeth said she would never marry she stood up and showed that women can rule the world without a husband!

  • I'm guessing the Duke is gay considering there was a man in the bed.... I love how Cate reacted....

  • "altho my affection for you is undiminished.." LOL "Madame, I will explain" "Don't bother, I understand everything" LOL

  • wats with the midget woman?
