  • looks kinda like the dragon tooth,

i really liked your improv though!

you should name it and make it a song and backtracks and such, for nerds (like me) to play around with

  • That looks and sounds wonderful! A great catch! :D

    And I like your improvisation!

  • Thanks and thanks!

    Dave

  • I love the way it fits perdectly on that bag

  • Its really nice and the mouthpiece fits in a little lip that holds it in.

  • Wow that is awesome! It looks so magical. Even the name sounds like something from an RPG.

  • Thanks, I thought so, thats why dont always think that airy is a bad thing for some oc's depends what your looking for.

  • very cool! I LOVE the design, so magical lol

  • thanks!

  • Spooky Tooth!

  • tooth? i was thinking more of a bulls horn hehe.. but spooky yes quite...

  • Very cool Dave.

  • thanks

  • I saw that thing on Nadishana's channel a few days ago. Very awesome! I've never seen an oc tuned to a minor scale before, either.

And if I read the site correctly, isn't it one of a kind, too?

  • Yeah its quite weird being in minor, and it is a one of a kind from what his site says.

  • Wow, that is one of the best ocarinas I've seen yet!

  • thanks!

  • Neat OC bag!

  • Thanks its really a sweet bag it fits it perfectly.

  • That's a very interesting ocarina! Great catch! =P

  • thanks (GRIN)

  • Wow, that's quite an ocarina.

I'm impressed they managed to keep it so consistently airy. Usually if an ocarina is airy on the low notes, it might not even sound on the high notes.

  • Its a very beautiful ethnic sounding Ocarina, so many strive to cut out the airyness in an Ocarina but sometimes its just what is needed for many ethnic tunes or for just the Shamanistic feel.

  • I agree, the airiness is a unique quality when it's done purposely. sometimes it gives it a creepy spooky sound to it. I just recently learned of "Death Whistles" you should try looking them up. They're an ancient Aztec instrument I believe were for playing after the death of a tribe member. I could be wrong on that fact but they still have a really neat airy quality that makes them creepy!
