I would agree that there are more Maoris than Samoans that play professional Rugby, although not by a whole lot. Both Maori's and Samoans have alot of talent for the game, but a player who has talent without work ethic goes in the same direction as a car without an engine, NOWHERE. I would agree that there are more Maoris than Samoans that play professional Rugby, although not by a whole lot. Both Maori's and Samoans have alot of talent for the game, but a player who has talent without work ethic goes in the same direction as a car without an engine, NOWHERE. Good quality players are determined by the talent they posess but also the work ethic they bring to the table, this should be the bench mark for judgin a player. Judging a player by ethnicity is a sign of ignorance

@UHtiger Kaino and soialo have the height and and ball handing skills to become good locks, during there stay in the all blacks both players have been options during lineup time, plus there abillty during the ruck and maul phase are dominate, as both players have been playing in the flanks for the abs, as for isia toeava his original position was first five as he played there during his first 15 days taking his school to the auckland and nz champs in 2003.

Rapira, Harrison, Eastwood, Luke and Blair are pretty much starters for the kiwis when they are fit and Lewis Brown will be as well soon enough.

Samoans are way better known for the matai system, and holding on to that system despite outside influence. The siva tau is just a small aspect of the culture. And there are many siva taus- some are done with stone axes. And sapelus are made with iron, something we did not have in olden times. Lastly, how do we know when the first siva tau was performed? Our traditions are silent on that.

"Haka"s are war dances which have basicly 2 main purposes (i will not mention their role to make the gods to look down at you). 1fst to scare the enemy and 2nd to raise your moral.
