Is that why your government is suspended due to financial issues? The US has never suspended its government for any reason other then war. The US has much to learn from Canada, but Canada has much to learn from the US. I suppose that is why over half your nation lives close to the border, right?

living close to the boarder is just living geographically south. do you have any idea how cold it gets way up north? and the suspended government is what happens when the minority ruling party tries to cripple the other parties funding and throw together a slap dash fiscal plan based on ideologies. anyways, the states should keep thinking they are number one, it keeps us out of the spot like. but for the record, we have better soldiers. you have better bombs.

I was told by my friend in Ontario that he has been in -50C weather, but I doubt that the weather keeps people from living there, just look at Alaska! And the minority party is ruling, just like the one here who started the wars. Also, do your superior soldiers make superior craters? Because our bombs do. Face it, the US and Canada, while they have differences, are among the best nations in the world.

People on both sides of the border attempt to argue supremacy, though, these arguments are only as strong as the ignorance which allows them to be constructed and beleived.
First, our government has porouged itself, because of fear of been given the boot. Here opposition parties can place a vote of "nonconfidence", meaning that they no dont have faith in the decisions that the elected party, Conservatives. The conservatives then have two choices: to suspend government or hold a new election!

Exactly! The US and Canada have plenty of great ideas and should learn from one another. I like the idea of having the no confidence vote, it keeps both sides a bit more honest, and I am sure that Canada could learn a bit more from the U.S. regarding infrastructure construction, etc. I'm glad to see someone else knows that anyone who claims they are solely better because of nationality is ignorant.
