apparently our "cheap" PC's outrun your 2000$ macs, and we never mentioned anything about Final Cut... nothings compatible theres no dedicated graphics chip on most and even if it did have one, the games you want to play wouldnt be able to support it either way, CPU's are low powered, mind as well by a cheap Laptop that have the same specs RAM sucks and hard to replace, nothing is good about the MAC's price point, maybe if their price were cut in 1/2 then it'd be a good deal

I have one....for what it is.....I love it. I use it as a back up to my Gateway laptop.....and I love the Acer's portability. I doubt you could call it a workhorse, but you can do your email, get onto AOL....do youtube videos,etc. and it's adequate. Be advised it does not have a CD drive so I had to get an external drive for it, just to watch videos,or back up my system....but I gave it a thumbs up!

I have this same netbook. Trust me, if you got it just for typing and stuff you're going to love it, it can do so much more than that. I got mine to play Half-Life 2 on DirectX8, the only problem is it crashes when it auto-saves, but it plays at like 10-15 FPS on DX8. It's amazing considering it's size and it is definitely worth the price.

Why don't you just run bootcamp or Fusion? The macbook runs windows really fast natively on bootcamp. The Netbook has really slow processor compare to the macbook you have.
