  • Hate Agassi great match thoo

  • tennis was great in the 80s 90s and early 2000s its gone down hill in the last 5 years they all play the same now

  • I actually prefer watching ferrero, Coria and Kuerton on the clay than nadal.

Nadal can get a beit tedious sometimes with those lasso looping forehands that just land on the service line. Very boring to watch

  • Man Agassi would have throttled this guy so many times, on any surface, back in the day.

  • @joserra79 results is result - yes...but if you'd say that it doesn't matter how it is reached...you're wrong...it IS matters, because you play not only for yourself, but also for crowd's pleasure, if you want to pretend to gain fan base and build up for more, your game have to LOOK serious and beautiful, and here's spanish school fails...

  • @Summon256 wat r u talking bout? so ur sayin spanish players dnt entertain the crowd? if u think they all baseline well feliciano lopez serves and volleys alot and yes the rest baseline mor thn likely but they baseline cos they r awesome at it and baselining is the way people play these days

  • @ortonlegend today's CROWD is very stupid and hypnotized by brainwashing standards, that have much of popularization meaning to it, rather than quality...

  • @ortonlegend other words they're tasteless...

  • ...nobody can do that nowadays ! ...nobody ! EVEN Federer ! which i consider as greatest player of all times, but not the most well technically equipped, i still think that mister Rod Laver is the most technically equipped, but less powerful, durable etc...

  • ...i'm not even talking about net play, which is absolutely destroyed ! ...remember how Edberg masterfully controlled the ball, watching the edges, from any angles, keep racquet ready to attack, he cover the half of the net, to ensure everything is safe of any kind of passing shots ! ...he rushed the net well prepared and ready to attack, he calculated every opponent's move about 2-3 steps forward, keeping his eyes on the ball till the last and then placed powerful looking volley in empty spot!

  • ...i really really miss times, when tennis were crowded with REAl talents like Agassi, Sampras, and before that , Edberg, Bekker etc...man's tennis went downhill since new era (2000+ i mean)...all the technics and thift, good timing and ball control and court feeling are gone and been replaced by boring baseline play, forcing opponent's error and running like mad from one corner of the court to another...no no no, this is NOT what tennis used to be, that just isn't right ! real tennis is gone...

  • @Summon256

    are u crazy?

look at the talents in the game today...federer, nadal, djokovic, murray, del potro...these guys are INCREDIBLE tennis players. they have taken the game forward...

  • @AlphaDraconis7 no i'm not crazy, more like you're brainwashed by today's standards...

  • @AlphaDraconis7 those are not talants...they can't do shit at net, if they'd met face to face with Stefan Edberg at his prime, with wooden raquets, playing of fast court with low rebound you'd proven you're wrong calling them talented...they aren't talented, there isn't someone in the tour to show what REAL tennis is...

  • @AlphaDraconis7 all their success is all because tennis nowadays have nothing better to offer...EVERYONE play boring tennis, thats just not a question who's better, but rather who's worse...

  • @AlphaDraconis7 I guess you really didn't watch tennis in the 90's. So many incredible players and unbelievable matches. I will agree with you on one thing though, Nadal has taken the game forward. He's an incredible talent and possibly the GOAT. But the 90's was deeper than it is now, that's for sure (in my opinion at least).

  • @mousavsm Yep, Tennis back then was MUCH MORE DEEP and COMPETITIVE. MANY GS CHAMPIONS in one era.

  • @Summon256

bad attitude, you are against evolvement... admit it or not, tennis today is more quality than 10 or 20 years ago

  • @Mirren81 ...so in your understanding quality is determined by injuries, retirements, opponents errors, poor offense, inability to use half volleys etc...if thats what you call EVOLVEMENT than i feel pity for youyr taste...

  • @Mirren81 Nah, you just didn't watch tennis that many years ago. If you did, you clearly wouldn't say that. I mean, yes, in general, players get stronger and quicker over periods of time, just like human intelligence increases as the years go by. But quality, no, the quality back then was phenomenal. If you didn't play well back then, most times, you lost, that's how good the competition was. I see. nowadays, so many players collapse, and so man players win without playing well.

  • ...and as the whole call me whatever you want, but i dislike spanish school of tennis, those survival/overrun your opponent thing doesn't make justice for me...the only two Spanish players that i like so far are Robredo and Lopez, because they're both well rounded and unlike most of other spaniard players do not rely all their hopes to win on the baseline play, the put variety in their game, adjusting between volley, serve, drop shots, lobs etc...Spanish school is very poor - my opinion...

  • @Summon256 All the titles won in EVERY surface show that you´re not right...Spain is the powerful country in tennis nowadays. The results prove that. Spain do have very complete players able to win any tournament (14 players in the top 100, 2 players in the top 10, and many grand slam titles won, among the). Winning all the grand slams titles is not reachable if you´re not a complete player...

  • @joserra79 i'm not talking about results...there's hundreds ways of reaching this kind of result, that was my point, but spanish players used in my opinion the worst and the most boring way to reach high results such as baseline play, there's nothing can be more boring than that, not being able to attack at net, vary between slice and top spin well enough etc...compared to such players of the past like Sampras, Edberg, Bekker and etc...all of the spanish players are pale...

  • @joserra79 ...i mean all they do all the time are bashing the hell out the ball further and back, without putting variety into the game, like combining slice shots with drop shots, they lack surprise factor in their attacks, like suddenly hitting drop shots back from the baseline, or coming to the net when your opponent lost control of the ball, taking situations in your hand and finishing the point with nice place running, jumping or whatever else volley...

  • that is an effingly racist thing to say, but before that... what line call?

  • agassi is playing way match better but he is making mistakes. he's rushing a little bit !!!

  • no no man there was a boy called juan carlos ferrero with an iron forehand who raised number one you can see him playing here

  • ...and there was a man Roger Federer, who proved this boy that IRON FOREHAND isnt ALL that you need to have in your arsenal in order to be called world number one...

  • If Ferrero didn't get injured and ill in 2004 he would have given Federer a good run.

  • @thrillamf oh and once again...would have could have...who cares, the objective reality is everything that is matters, despite all the facts saying for J.C.Ferrero it doesn't necessary mean that he would have won more titles or given Federer good run...

  • @thrillamf ...want my personal opinion ? ...Ferrero is even lucky he got to world number one eventually, because iron forehand by no means is what you can call a good weapon, because most of the players have recent/above average power forehand, so having just slightly better/stronger doesn't mean having advantages to other players...and before rushing me and my opinion, yes ! i know Ferrero's playstyle pretty well , i've seen a lot of matches with him and yes ! his forehand is his only power...

  • wonderful video , maravilloso gracias.

  • Had Agassi won this match, he would have won the french open in 2002. Guarantee!

  • Thank you very much neibaf3for uploading all these matches
