Well, i am bengali too. For most part of it, there is a lil bit of import from indian culture when it boils down to marriage, but that did not modify religious portion of marriage. However, most people in Bangladesh are still conservative cuz of religion, may be not 100% religious but have a conservative approach in life in many respects due to religious obligations.
