Rihannas voice has improved a lot. Just like beyonce herself. Listening to Bey when she was a teen and in her early 20s you will hear her vocals weren't nothing to give praise to. Both bey and rih are medicore singers, with lots of vocal training they can improve to be decent and okay singers, but let's face it neither will ever be remembered as amazing singers/vocalist like Whitney, Celine, Mariah, Aretha. Pattie, Lauryn. Bey and rih are mostly image.

Rihanna voice is sweet and unique and it sounds good on almost any type of song! Rihanna may not be a better vocalist technically but she is still a great singer. You can't compare them. YOU CAN'T. Just because Beyonce squishes Rihanna in terms of vocals, music and skill. Rihanna started like a Beyonce wannabe and then, recognizing she wouldn't be able to do that, she started making commercial pop music. Her vocals are poor: she lacks volume, she autotunes HEAVILY, and her tone is bland. And her music is a little bit too commercial. Beyonce is a REAL soul singer, she has an amazing voice (supported by technique and skill) and her music is great.

There's no question that Beyonce's voice is much more well rounded. I love them both! That said, there are still plenty of cool things Rihanna's voice can do that Beyonce can't, and vice versa. So I would say Beyonce wins, but Rihanna still has plenty to be proud of vocally.
