i hate watching crufts. i dnt mind the parading of the beautiful dogs but how wud u like to be yanked around by the thinnest chain under ur chin? it looks so painful.
@imax006 Actually depending on your dog you get slightly thicker chains and they are not yanked around otherwise it is classed as a fault. The dog simply plodds along beside the handler and i agree with Solstisol don't watch crufts if you are offended by it!
i have a pharaoh hound also. and you are so right, no matter how old they are, inside they keep on being a puppy. my one is 5 years old. beautiful dogs!

hey guys !! someone can tel me if he is a pharaoh hound, an ibizan hound or canario hound ? ( podenco canario ) they are all quite similar !! i've got a podenco ibisenco .
@whitedeerindian he is a pharaoh hound, also the same woman won the group last year in 2009 with her pharoah hound, im not sure if its the same dog though.

my JACK RUSSELL (RIP TICKER ) a female, that resembled these whippet, she was FAST just like them. :)
I have her son and dauhgter still, and the son is fast too.

What a beautiful dog! We have whippets, so I'm always partial to them. But this is a gorgeous pharaoh hound, so I'm happy for him and his owner!
