  • Remek induló!

A Cári időben komponálták,de a politikától függetlenűl az Orosz népnek mindíg kedvesek e dallamok!

  • This song isn't Soviet. It's from the Russian Empire, 1912, it was about the First (I believe) Balkan War.

  • I'm so downloading this for my iPhone.

  • This song was maded for white army

  • White or Red -who cares as long as Russians are killing Russians.

  • @horselips Still better to be Russian than whatever you are - you are obviously too ashamed of your own nationality to even put it on your profile.

  • This song is white, not soviet!!!

  • @Speer86 Oh, no, this song is definitely not white! Vasiliy Agapkin joined RED Army, all his life was in Red/Soviet Army, and it was him who was the conductor of the brass orchestra on Red Square, when our men went straight from the parade to front lines to defend Moscow.

  • @Speer86 Its both, and seeing as the whites only used it till they were rightfully slaughtered like the worthless scum they are by the glorious red army, I believe the Soviets have the right to it.

  • this is not fucking soviet music, this is RUSSIAN music!!

  • @Rezervist Russia was at its greatest power and glory during the days of the USSR, The State of the Federation we have today would make all former Soviet leaders weep. During the years 1917-1991 they were no Russians, Belorussians, Ukrainians or Baltic people, There was only the glorious Soviet People.

  • Long live the Tsar, glorious autocrat of all the Russias, Finland, Poland, Besarabia, Lithuania, Livonia, Estonia, undisputed suzerain of the whole Asia and Europe, Invincible Protector of all Slavs, Orthodox Faith and its Holy Places!

    God save the Tsar!

  • Song of the victory!

  • Even in the USA there are those who love and appreciate you!

  • in finland there is none

  • Slava Rodina! Ura!

  • This march was played first time by russians volunteers during the balkanians war between bulgarians and turkish in 1912. It 's the symbol of slavian fraternity. After the revolution it was prohibited but the russians played again during the WW II

  • Only Russians know whats means "Prochanie Slavanki"Your hart ,your soul, your pride. We live to the army service and arriving back to home -hear Slavanka.

Great remaind -you russian no metter what.

  • This song was made by the white army.

  • True Communism has never been realized, least not yet... ppl stop basing communism on the Soviet Union or N. Korea or China. The closest it's come is yes indeed the Soviet Union. But not quite. Certainly not during Stalin's reign.

  • @zackpanzer Communism will never get past the point where the government has all the power, so you never experience true communism, at least not in this lifetime.

  • Communism is a fantasy concept. There is no money or private ownership of anything. To get to a communist state, you have to first make a society socialist (i.e. a police state where the gov't controls the entire economy). The theory was such a society would then revert to the glorious communist utopia, where everything is communally owned.

Remember George Orwell: "You don't start a dictatorship to safeguard a revolution, you start a revolution in order to establish a dictatorship.

  • @WheelsRCool You got that one right .

  • @WheelsRCool Sounds like something happening here in this country today; especially if you are able to read between the lines and lies from both party affiliations. It was coming sooner or later!

  • some ppl always tell how bad Communist government or party is. however, have they ever told the meaning of Communism? the answer is NO.

    pl, stop fooling around

  • Can someone please tell me what communism is? i would like to know =) Everyone is saying its bad so i would like to know why

  • @Undeadguy95

Communism is the final goal of human society.

those who say its bad, obiviously they have no idea abt Communism.

    Go Communists!

oneday, we will live in a world where truely belongs to all human being.

  • Knock off all Facists, Nazis, separatists, reactionaries and capitalists! Farmers and workers from the whole world, unite! The Red Army will smash the enemy relentlessly! Slava Rossiya!

  • Wasn't this song written during the Balkan Wars about Bulgarian women saying goodbye to the troops. It was adopted by the White Russian Forces and then by the Red Army.

  • To everyone who is disputing about the origin of this melody, I studied Russian history and still do and can 100% say that it was written for the Empirial Army of Russia during the Russo-Japan war. Even the discription tells u all that it was writen in 1912. Hello!!! The red army and the revolution happened in 1917! Think before u say. and if u trully belive that the white army stole it from the reds, u have no understanding of tht time period at all. The author wrote it before the revolution!

  • i totally agree,

yet i must say i preferred the old russia before 1917, since it resembled more of the western ideas and influence. because for history as well it wouldn't have created the cold war and led to almost nuclear catastrophe.

  • Who in their right mind doesnt. Russia was an EMPIRE before 1917!!! I myself am a monarchist and will always remain loyal to now destroyed Russian Czar Dynasty of Romanovs! Long Live the Czras and their Memory

  • the author of this song joined the Red Army!

  • (to ramberghini)

Did he ? Well, if he did, I seriously doubt he had the choice to do it or not to do it.

Maybe he was "friendly convinced" by the NKVD or the similar units to join the Red Army.

  • No, my friend, he joined voluntarily, and NKVD did not exist then for your information. As for Agapkin, he was always a conductor of military brass bands of Red Army, and it was he who conducted the music on that great parade of 7 November 1941 when soldiers marched straight from Red Square to the front line to defend Moscow.

  • (to LVG31)

Ah ok. Thank you for the correction. ;-)

  • Actually tens of millions of people that formed red army were voulonteers you dumbass, try to learn some history.

  • (to MrRein1988)

Yeah, sure. ALL of them joined voluntarily, sure.

I don't deny that many joined because they wanted, but you won't make me believe that ALL of them did.

Besides, it's useless to be rude. You'll just get the same kind of behaviour in response.

  • Your comments lead me to question how well you did in your study of Russian history. Firstly, I believe that you misspelled "Imperial". Second, this song was written in 1912, you are correct. However, it was not composed during the Russo-Japan War, which took place from 1904-1905. This is what leads me to question your statement that you studied Russian history. This song was composed during and for the First Balkan War (1912-1913).

  • It's been written because of new balkan war, not the japan war.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't give a damned thing about everything sed below this comment.

Only thing i know is that Russia has made some great, beautifull music and that's all there is to say about it...

  • go fuck your self you son of a bitch power to the people not to the tzars eat that white shit that comes out of my cock

  • Yh look wat happened to Russia once that happened. The only reason Russia got back on its feet was due to the WW2 results which sprouted the economy. Before it was just complete destruction, especially in th 1920s. With tsars we never had so much death, massacring, church burning, and so called "evening out the people" by witch i mean taking away from all the people so that everyone became bandits, murderers, and suffering people. Power to the people will never last longer than 400 years becaus

  • it never has. USA so far has been the longest through out all human history to preserve so called "freedom". Look back to other nations. All eventually turned back to monarchy or dictatorship because it is a human being's nature to have one true leader over him, just like God.

  • Get thee to a bathhouse!

  • The red army still live on!!! The red army is create by the people to the people an for the people.

  • no... whites didnt kill millions of innocent people.

  • @TheBlindPowerslave

This march was written before the October Revolution; it was used by the Tzar's army and then the White Army took it as one of it's principal marches. Afterwards the Red Army used it as well, because Russians have always been proud of their roots, history and arts.

It's a beautiful march about the farewell of a woman to her husband going to war, and I don't think politics should stain it.

  • @LucasCamiloTomas The person who wrote this song joined the red army. Which makes it a soviet song.

  • @TheBlindPowerslave its russian and its beuatiful, enough said.

  • fuck you bitch people arent bad, but only Stalin, Lenin ...Are motherfuckers my granparents were in ww2 and fuck you bitch.

  • @Urbanboy1998 And you were born in 1998, right?

  • Actually it's both a Tsarist and Soviet song. There are several different versions of lyrics, one is from the Balkan Wars and makes specific reference to Orthodoxy while the other is from post-Great Patriotic War and makes reference to entering Berlin in 1945.

  • It seems like there is some debate about whether or not this is tsarist music. Apparantly people are miffed becaue it brings back memory of the balkan wars while others claim that the music has been used in Russia by both the White and the Red armies.

I dont see the point of the argument. Couldnt they both agree that this is good music?

  • ...no, because the point is the historical meaning, not just the music.

  • Why the minus 5 so far this a czar song and to disgrace the red army it be like singing god save the queen in a baseball game (America of course)

  • This is the classic Imperial Russian Army march. Bolsheviks hated it during the revolution (I guess they would execute you for playing this march).

Rather grotesque, watching it played with Soviet soldiers in the images. Tsar Nikolai and Admiral Kolchak must be laughing in their graves. :-)))

  • You stupid, the author Vasiliy Agapkin became communist during russian civil war and whites have nothing with march, they just stoled this, you idiot!

  • A vy obratite vnimanie na "proizvoditelia". Eto "SovietMusic" - iz podvalov starogo Agitpropa. "Esli nado, oni i sobstvennym znamenem podorutsia" [A.Solzhenicyn]

  • It's russian, that's a fact, but the author is inspired by the bulgarian victories. :)

  • lol

  • Raznica ogromnaia. Primerno ta zhe, chto mezhdu zhopoi i kolenom.

"Belykh" armii ne bylo.Eto agitpropovskii termin, banditskii. Byli Vooruzhennye sily Iuga Rossii, Dobrovol´cheskaia armiia and more....

  • CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCP

    I like this music...

  • This is an old Tsarist march. Nothing to do with the Red Army.

  • That's partly true. The song was made in 1912, as a marching song for the Russian Empire. It was used by both whites and reds during the revolution, and when the reds won, they adapted it.

  • But the Soviets did put revised lyrics to them, making it a lot more socialist sounding.

  • lenin's picture with tsarist music.. ))) lol

  • Communism BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dunno what it means but sounds cool!!!!!

  • SLAVA CCCP

  • Jemchujnikov

  • XX Century Music

  • maybe thats the reason u like Beethoven more. u heard Chajkovsky too much.

  • Farewell to Slav woman was written in 1912 and first presented in Tambov. The march is dedicated to Bulgarian women sending their men to the Balcan War in 1912 against turks. Agapkin, whose relatives fight against turks during the Russian-Turkish war for liberation of Bulgaria was impressed now bulgarian women send their husbands to battle not with tears, but with flowers. great russian composer and of course, great russian soul. That is the secret of the best well-known march in the World

  • To set the record straight - the march was written in 1912 with quite innocuous words (whoever commands Russian can find them on the net), then went through some revival d'ring I WWar, then was used by White Army and then was appropriated by the Soviets from 1940 on. ince then t became iconic and nostalgic for all Russians.I myself was marching for it in late 1960s. Drink some vodka while listening!

  • Best march ever!

  • I love this soviet song and the picture is kewl to

  • its not what the song says

    Its what it means counts!

Even if i do not know what they mean!

But i say! Russia You're the DAMN best country

    Hehe for me

    Go russia!

  • To: TsarKaiserSir

This is not a "soviet song".It is a Russian military march, composed before revolution.

The pictures are very "soviet", and placed by a group of Kremlin psychological warfare specialists from GRU or contemporary "PropagandaAbteilung" of Russian, read "Soviet", army.

  • it`s not soviet musik! it was even befor WW1!

  • Why is it the only country that can produce any good music is the one that falls? I am sick of that Rap shit!

  • "Why is it the only country that can produce any good music is the one that falls? I am sick of that Rap shit!"

Unfortunately, there's plenty of Russian "yo yo yo, fuck da ho" shit too. It's everywhere; I've even seen Ru. rap videos, with white boys in hip hop clothes and bling, talking smack about American culture! How's that for irony!

  • Rap's everywhere these days.

  • AMEN!

    @Volkmoidruk:

    you're right about that!

Russia is the only country that produces music that rivals (if not, surpasses) that of Beethoven

  • Yeah, maybe you're right

  • On second thought, if you have a problem with my opinion, then DON'T RESPOND, Monsieur Buttwipe

  • Can't you disagree with people without name calling? Do you have a monopoly on expressing your opinion? You expressed your opinion; I happened to read it an disagree with it. In fact, I found it some what extreme and a bit silly. I expressed mine; wonder of wonders! - we disagree. You can respond to the substance of my comments; we can have a discussion. Or not respond but why the need to insult someone? Is this how you normally talk to people?

  • Please forgive me!

I didn't read the entire comment correctly.

I didn't meant for that to happen

  • OK.

I find ad hominem attacks unnecessary. One can very effectively destroy an opponent in a debate by skillful use of language without resorting to insults; that is a tactic to which people resort when they lack anything of substance to say.

The march in question is really very good. My father used to play it on a piano (as well as Unter dem Doppeladler - an Austrian march, look it up, it's really grand); I never saw sheet music but he was good at arranging accompaniment.

    Cheers!

  • Whew!

Thank you for forgiving me AND suggesting a new song for me!

  • BTW, I checked out that song you suggested and it was interesting.

  • Well, enjoy! There is more to music than military marches and rap so you've got a whole world-wide web to search for good music. Just don't let it suck you in so that you forget that there's life outside the web.

  • Thanks!

    And I quoteth thee: Cheers!

  • This is very famous march and it is using not only in Russia but in Bulgaria too!Proshtanieto na slavqnkata on bulgarian! And i think it is using before ww1 in Balkan wars!

  • Aber Ihr Idioten habt verloren!!!

Merke Dir eins lege dich nie mit Russland an!!!

    Napoleon usw....

  • Long life,Russia

    greetings from Czech republic

  • Man the soviet union fell apart but even after such a catastrophe this is still one great song and Russians are still heroes! ;-)

Russia will be better in the long run - soviet union was really a disaster for Russia- loss of one of the great religions, Orthodoxy, purges, deportations etc, not good.

With this dong they send the to the front line with trains ! And they rise the hends for goodbye !! End everyone on the train station cryes !

  • Great!Is the best heroic,patriotic music!

  • i love this music

  • Best march ever, CCCR vpered!!!

  • i love this song

  • excellent
