K, this is definitely one of my favorite stories ever and this version is a lot of fun. I also just got done reading Jacob T. Marley (it's kind of a prequel to Christmas Carol, like Wicked is to Wizard of Oz). Anyway, awesome book. It made me want to go read Dicken's Christmas Carol again. I'm a major Dickens fan and somehow Bennett retains the Dickensian style. Can't wait for Christmas!
Most shows in the US dont, simply because it can be screwed up so easily. I have seen productions that have tried it and failed miserably. They know what they are doing.
Its great to see this done in southern accents, I wish I had been there to see it, very good!
