I am 26, and I just discovered Annette from "Sita Sings The Blues", I watched the movie four times in 2 days, and I played Annette on youtube for everyday now. Thank you for posting her! I'm falling for her!

@slantingeyes99 There are several excellent Annette Hanshaw cd's still available. Check the ASV label, an English firm. The cd's are well worth owning and last time I checked, were still available on e-Bay. . The version of "We Just Couldn't Say Goodbye" available on YouTube is the only known movie footage.

When I was a preteen in the 1940s, my folks had a wind up Victrola and a cabinet filled with 78 records. Two of them were by Annette Hanshaw: Talking Picture, I'm a Dreamer, Happy Days are Here again and I'm Following You. Would you happen to have I'm Following you in your collection to upload. I never thought I would ever hear Annette's voice again but Praise the Lord I found YouTube. Thank you ILoveJenni47. I also like Roy Orbison songs too. Lucia
