@SuckMeOffx9 "Are you retarded or what" <- makes me think that me explaining this to you is not worth it so I guess I'll just use it back at you.
When I say illegal, I'm not saying it's wrong, did I say that? Wait, nope, as I said RIGHT HERE, "3rd of all, I'm not saying it's wrong, I still download shit illegally." Are you retarded or what?
@SuckMeOffx9 1st of all, I'm not trolling. 2nd of all, I did change my internet provider. 3rd of all, I'm not saying it's wrong, I still download shit illegally.
since 2007 it's not against the law to download movies only sharing videos are NOT allowed, now 2011 it's against the law to download movies for what you didn't pay for.
this is funny but i dont understand if its illeagal or not people say its legal to download but its the uploader thats being illegal and others say that downloadin the film is bad which one is it for god sake ive downloaded a few but then i stopped cuz the fear of gettin caught
i download a couple per day...so what if I don't want to pay? Who in their right mind would buy a hundred movies and pay for them? The same goes to music, do people with over 1,000 songs get ALL them paid? its saving money, and the companies are too rich to care about a couple hundred dollars
Wot a load of rubbish. When will the industry adapt its business model?? Quit changing lobbing governments, harrasing people with fines and spreading propoganda??... Take a look at the uk's digital economy bill, suing file-sharers, misleading authorities with bogus piracy reports & STATS. RIAA & MPAA are using those same staTs, convincing us 2 transform the Internet into there copyright police state.
I remember when Indiana Jones 4 came out... I could be a CRIMINAL like my friends and download it, but no !!! I am a rightful citizen and decided to go to the cinema and pay for it :D
BUT ... then it turned out the cinema is too expensive so...... I'll just wait 5 years till I watch it FOR FREE on TV..... rather than downloading it for free when it came out... Nice ey?
I support piracy and here's why.Piracy is NOT stealing. Stealing=Taking original copy and producer loses money.Where as with Piracy=Copying original and there is no loss of money or gain of money.
Is it wrong to make your own personal copies? No. To make copies and distribute in one fashion or another? Yes. Its wrong no matter how you look at it. Because they company that owns the rights, did not authorize any form of distribution either by file sharing or free copies to other people. Wrong/wrong on both sides of the fence.
No, it is not wrong IMO because I think that if you PAY the company than you should be able to do whatever you want with it.For example,If you subscribed to an ISP and then they banned a webpage because they believed it was bad, even though you payed for the internet.Would you not be pissed off?
I live in a rural town in the middle of nowhere. My internet connection is my only way i can access movies and music. Lol, my town doesn't even a video store and cinema is 3 hours drive away. So yeah I'm not going to stop because some rich dues in LA think it's costing them money. Like i care if some rich snobs can't buy another million dollor house.
i am too lazy to go to the cinema, and i don't have enough cash to by a dvd, so what if i download a movie, nobody is hurt, no one knows or cares, beybe it is stealing, but it's not like stealing a car, someone worked really hard to pay for it, as for the actors, directors and others - they don't care !! they are too busy rolling in MILIONS of dollars that they made from a movie. It's kinda like robin hood - stealling from the rich (actors, directors etc.) and giveing to the needy ( downloaders)
They have methods of preventing people from making copies. But people, who are so desperate to steal properties, come up with ways to get around such measures and most of them want to just make a profit. Its wrong. And no, it doesn't hurt anybody but morally, its wrong and alot of people just don't have morals.
It's still stealing and wrong, however I think it should be made legal to download all media.
If you memorize a movie and then describe it in detail to someone, should you go to jail for 3 years for illegally "sharing" copyrighted material? NO!
Doing it on the internet is basically the same, except much more practical and possible, with more detail.
I'm not sure if I make any sense or not, I'm pretty tired right now.
Logical Downloading is awesome.. (formerly known as illegal downloading) it brings out young new artists, so people can test them out without spending money they would never spend unless they were sure they were good... and also it allows them to be exposed faster to the world and have concerts and still get rich, keeping the music industry alive and the poor happy because they dont have to spend 1000 dollars on 1000 songs... . or 10 000 in my case XD
Laugh your a*s out, but I know you children of Uncle Sam (which means your mother and your father are brothers) - you act like you're tough (get'n down wit' da hood), but when you get home, you ask your mother: "Mom..., can I have some money for the new Spiderman DVD ? Pleeeease ? "
FYI, I am not american, nor do I wish to, so do not pay attention to my spelling.

one illegal download equals 10-20$ worth of money that the company wud of gotten
slapshot68 1 year ago
@slapshot68 Lol, yea right, like every download = a copy of the movie that would have been bought.
MrTodd198126 1 year ago
@HackerManOmar Indeed. What the hell are we paying for the internet connection anyways if industries start to label some content as illegal.
