Can anyone help me with the name of the last track he did here on this video, ill like to add it to my bands set list.tks.....and great job Norman all all the way from sunny Trinidad and Tobago
@jason77710, the song is "Take Me There" from Norman Brown's Album titled After The Storm. I have the CD, and it is really good….as is just about everything Norman Brown does!! Good luck!!
@SunsetBeachHawaii Sometimes it's just about making people feel good-not about getting respect from those who would rather spend their time being critics. You think this is a charade? To put the value of your comments in perspective, perhaps you should spend as many years practicing, then getting gigs to support yourself and a family, and then be told that your entire effort was and is in vain by an anonymous voice. Your comments add no value to Norman nor to the efforts of the human spirit.
@SunsetBeachHawaiiBoy ....GB woud never wear a sleeveless shirt!! 2 distinct men even though they may sound similar. who cares...love it.. u 2 should just enjoy and enough with the F word pal.
@SunsetBeachHawaiiBoy Norman Brown is not at nall trying to be George Benson, yes he idolizes him and calls him his hero but Norman's music is WAY WAY more modern than George's, I LOVE George to gits and have been for a long time now coz he has CRAZYhits but Norman Brown is modern RnB, George is earlier RnB, just go and buy Norman's albums, don't hear but LISTEN!! you will see he has a WAY different style of composing.
Great sound and playing style. He's wonderfully melodic and that voice improvisation of the notes he's playing is really hard to do at that speed and execution. This guy's got talent. The fact he's even compared with GB puts him high in the ranks. Love your music Mr. Brown. I look forward to more Pop's Cool Groove
The muslims are big fans of jazz, cool. Did not know that. Its just the youth that watch Rebecca Black and I dont want them at my shows anyways. I just saw GB on Oct. 1 for his first show of his Guitar Man tour. Norman is no GB, but he is equally as talented.
Norman was influenced by Hendricks. You can tell in his style and playing.

I concur - he's no Mr Benson when it comes to chops, but what I'm seeing and hearing in this video is far from "embarrassing. "

@TheMusicsoulja
Norman Brown = Compositions have more modern R&B edge.
George Benson = More traditional and complex Jazz/Bebop guitar licks.

When I first heard After the Storm, I loved it. What a great tune for driving on a long highway. Not the second tune.
