  • Great vid man, but the way its been edited and the music make is really surreal haha. How long have you been working on your flexibility/how often, if you don't mind me asking?

  • @legdned 30 mins everyday man. Stretching shouldnt make your legs sore the next day, it should do the exact opposite. You should feel better and looser after stretching, perhaps you are misattributing your soreness? It could be from running or weightlifting, very unlikely from stretching.

  • Click 0:37 over and over for air humping.

  • i love ju jitsu just come back from a seminar in tavistock xx fun it was my very first 1 lol xx

  • being flexible also helps you out when your in a submission hold. or saves you sometime to get out before someone locking it all the way

  • ha i have a grading on the 26 th of this month for jiu jitsu lol these will help me alot thanx

  • amazing, well done, i started to practice BJJ not long ago and this really sounds for me

  • i swear i thought this was a porno for the longest time. the music and the thrusting i think is what threw me off.

  • @sillyman720

    lmao !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this all still possible when you got bones in your legs ?

  • @Sting977

No, bones have to be removed first. ;)

  • 0:52...lol PUSH!! PUSH! Come on you can do it. I can see the head your almost there COME ON PUSH!

  • @JustListenGeorge

Believe it or not if women could do this, during birth, it would help.

  • @JustListenGeorge Awesome LOL ;-)

  • Awesome video. Very effective stretching routines. Very professional. Well done.

  • thanks it helped

  • If we could do half the shit you do in this video we wouldn't be looking this up

  • the stretch at 1:00 looks unhealthy for the leg.

someone recommended me this video and he was doing that stretch a lot and ended up partially tearing his ACL.

  • Many people look at this promo and take it out of content.

Many stretches can be good or bad, depending on how you do them.

  • @Bodyweightculture plus im sure if you dont ease into it you could damage your body anyways, just like with any fitness routine, someone who just started running for example, more than likely wont be able to run a full 20 miles or so, theyd probably start doing between 1 and 5 miles a day or something

  • LMAO I love the intro how it says that BJJ has borrowed from yoga and other forms and now everything will change, yet many of the stretches are from yoga, the down dog, the cobbler's pose (butterfly stretch) the hip openers, looks like you're still borrowing, not that it's a bad thing, I do yoga because it's good for BJJ, lets just call it what it is, borrowing.

  • This is Paul Zaichik's promo video. Some of the stretches look like yoga, but they are not as they are performed differently, more specific to BJJ.

You have to see the whole video, not just the promo to understand it.

  • @RightWingCon81 I think what paul meant was that many grapplers were doing yoga and pilates etc. What he did is develop AN ORDERED SYSTEM of grappler-specific flexibility development. If you buy his DVD's you'll see that he goes very in depth about how stretches function and how certain things apply to your sport etc.

  • don't see why it's called borrowing... we giving them back?

  • Alright so theres the stretches but... how often should they be done? duration of each stretch? How many times should a stretch be re-done per session? Should you wait between stretches? any perticular order they should be done with? How about the breathing?

  • You realize that it's an advertisement for the DVD?

  • i did after i went to the website :)

  • wow

  • yo man howcome I didnt see the lotus stretch

  • Why lotus?

  • isnt it a stretch used

  • Not sure what you mean.

  • nm ive seen eddie bravo do a lotus stretch n wonder if u cando it???

  • I am sure Paul can do lotus stretch. lol

  • THanks for the vid and help....

THe TRACK THE TRACK???? What Lable or artist wrote the music for your video... I very rarely find this style anywahere unless I make it myself with software... Thank you!!!! Bless

  • ES, my instructor gave me some stretches to do to help with my knee joint flexibility. He said to be very careful with them and not to overdo it or I'll hurt my knees. Does ES grappling include stretches for knee flexibility? if not, can i find it on another dvd?

  • jrobin98, you probably should visit Elasticsteel forum or Paul's channel, ElasticSteel for better input.
