  • ...ruins our career ... as if we needed...help.

    2:07

  • OMG, you poor guys, I had no idea-- I was just a little screaming, clueless girl loving you and your music.

  • Holy shit. Turtle power!

  • geeaz man? thats sad. great great singers too. Call Any Vegitable Forever!

  • I laughed until I stopped.

  • Happy Together.....NOT!

  • Wife...money...Mexico... hahaha! Class ;D)

  • mark volman is eternal? He does not get old!!!!

  • "wife, money, mexico... down here..." lmao... this is so fun lol ... "manager one is very popular now... he got famous on our money"

  • Wow. What a terrible story. But it is great that you kept your sense of humor surrounding it.

I am sure it was not funny when going through that turmoil.

Great sets of lessons for everyone.

    Thank you for sharing

    Thank you

  • Where is Frank Zappa in this???

  • @LuneyTune72 Frank had his own problems with WMG. Luckily he was able to produce records independently.

  • This is hilarious and sucky but Turtles, sorry to say you probably wouldn't have had nearly as many of these problems if you'd written your own music

  • That's why these guys are still funny...they tell the truth...thanksb

  • funny. but it sounds like reality.

  • They finish each other's sentences like an old married couple. They're hilarious!

  • This is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time! This was great!

  • they said heebs!!!

  • Anyone know if manager #1 was Herb Cohen? He sued everyone.....

  • @mitch26 No, it was Bill Uttley, I believe.

  • Love your ice cream!!! ......oh wait, that's Ben and Jerry's. Never mind.

  • I know you are, but what am I?

  • These guy are so damn funny...:-)))

  • so which number is zappa?

  • @friedpisano i think it's number 8 'cause they say: "...we become his new group..."

  • Sad how many folks back then would be hearing their own hit on the radio and couldn't make rent

  • Just a damn shame... I hope all of the former managers have a terrible and incuarable social disease..

  • There was a group called the Badfinger, and they had a similar experience. Management said they were providing for them, and after years of hard work, the group was fleeced and ended up broke. In their case, the story is especially tragic, as it led to two suicides. Flo and Eddie at least are alive!

  • @chuckdee121 "The Badfinger"

  • And remember kids, this is how broke you are WHEN YOU MAKE IT.

Reminds me of the interview with Left Eye from TLC (rip) when she talks about being flat broke when they had the #1 song in America. Thank God the record industry is dying the slow, agonizing, undignified death it so sorely deserves.

  • HAHAHAHAH who needs to go to school for entertainment business, Flo and Eddie just laid it down.

  • The young kids who want to be stars have no idea- This should be seen by all who even think they want to get into the biz-

  • Now all you have to do is disclose who these thieves are and the whole lawsuit thing can start over. Way to go guys. Good video. Davey Jones, Mickey Dolenz, Peter Tork have a similar story with Colgems.

  • Yep!

  • great video guys, please sub me back, happy holidays. fredo

  • I want to know who manager number 6 is. The BIG star.

  • How long ago was this? It's awesome though..

  • :53 we paid manager #1 $50, 0000 of OUR MONEY; should he not he have said we paid manager #1 $50,000 from the money ($250,000)we BORROWED from the record company?

  • Well, U should know better as U come from a country where everything is borrrowed, or got by creditcard, etc...american express...etc...when U borrow (in this case money) something and it's in your possession it's yours...remember the cars, houses, etc? Well everything is borrowed in the US...and we in Europe suffer from the crisis it caused...

  • @Jofph whiny biatch

  • @pierrelivernois I know you are but what am I?

  • @pierrelivernois I know you are, but what am I?

  • at 1:12 Eddie says, He (manager #2) gave us THAT money without explaining what money, the amount, if it was an advance or what.... can anyone pls clarify?

  • Best routine I've seen since "Who's On First?"

  • Funniest video I've seen here. Instructive, too.

  • I really love these guys...great musicians, vocaiists & so damn funny...

  • I needed a laugh and new this vid would provide. Awefuckingsome.

  • It's so very important that musicians read up and research management teams.

The sad thing is that this story is becoming more common in todays industry.

when signing a manager, always have your lawyer (that you hire) review the paperwork.

  • the end is the best

  • "Manager #1 still suing us". So funny these two.

  • This is great! Thanks for posting it - I always loved Flo & Eddie.

  • They look especially poor in those clothes. Check out the Snoopy sweater. Really helps drive home the point.
