@alexkamrock Most producers play piano, especially since you need to have an understanding of chord structures and all that jazz to make a track sound good. I taught myself piano before I started making beats and it's extremely useful to know just piano since you can just change the instrument and play the same notes.

@alexkamrock Yea man I know what you're saying. It took me a few months to get pretty decent at playing piano. My best advice is to start remaking beats from songs you like rather than starting off with your own beat. That way you can learn what it makes for a beat to sound good. Check out other people's remakes and learn from those. That's what I did and eventually you figure out you know you can do stuff on your own.
