That's pretty good considering you were so far away. This thing would pick up dialogue really well from a few feet away on a boom, am I right?

why do people upload tests in 240p...the audio will sound terrible regardless of how good the mic is...

You should've played some drum beat on that bin? Anywho, does it really pick up that well? I have the 897, as well as the 4073a, and the 40-series seems twice as sentsitive as the 897. I think tha tthe 4073a is discontinued now, and replaced with a mic that looks the same, but I think it doesn't have some EU defined "hazardous" materials in it...

No, just the mic and the foam windscreen that came with the mic.

It is wind noise i'm sure. I did not use a blimp or sock just the microphone and the foam wind screen that came with the mic.

Attached to a zeplin would have far better results.
