  • r.i.p <3

  • Johnny Cash disliked this because the fucking crowd didn't SHUT UP!

  • grazie per averci regalato le tue canzoni, grande Johnny Cash! il migliore di sempre!

  • god bless you, geat johnny cash.

  • I find it truly hard to watch him change chords..

What great man, dead is heart-breaking, but losing your soul-mate is worse.

  • @Punkyadam2k8 Did he change chords? I saw him in G the entire time.

  • @dbpro12

    Watch his hand.

  • // Legend.

  • The Legend always lives on.......May God Bless His Soul

  • I love you Johnny and June Cash. May you rest in peace in the Lords arms.

  • May God look after you and the beautiful June Mr Cash. You were a tradition.

  • god bless this guy

  • barney 'stick-with me ang' andy 'to the end good-buddy' alway's Johnny

  • Amazing artist. Priceless.

  • Unfortunately, even the biggest of legends are not immune to death.

  • i got to meet him he sung me foulson prison blues i went to his funrule i will always have him in my heart

  • Johnny writing song for the heavens ''Rip Mr Cash

  • RIP, Johnny, my great Idol

  • we just have to accept the fact that we lost a legend

  • Legend

  • Johnny died. so will we. the silence of death is the ultimate song.

  • HardRokMiner i understand what you are saying. Hoping that some day, that I will be sitting beside him too.. I think that after the passing of June, that his world just fell appart and he got sicker. They were meant for one another and they loved one another dearly. Both are sadly missed. Marie

  • Its a damn shame we have to get old. What a shame. Yes death is a very terrible disease

  • @reneesmum1 - Dying isn't a terrible disease when you live the life someone like Johnny lived. This man was playing and singing with all his hero's at the feet of his savior within seconds of his passing from this life...And whats better, is he was doing it with young hands and the perfect pitch. R.I.P Mr. Cash, and I look forward to sitting there with you one day.

  • Rest in peace... Great artist !!

  • it's Johnny Cash..at his age ..show some FUCKING respect..hope u feel like crap when u see this wonderful video ..but knowing a-holes u will just YELL-OUT i was there for his last performance...IDIOTS..

  • Exactly, you can hear one woman talking throughout the performance. What I would give to beat the disrespect out of here. No appreciation what-so-ever!!!!!

  • So hard and tearful to watch. . .

  • Ignorant audience.

  • Education is right.

  • Total ignorance on their part! What a legend! So sad that he is gone, but his music will always live on!

  • I would give up anything to be here while this happened

  • R.I.P. John. A big big man.

  • Wish i could've seen him. :(

  • You know it never fails, there's always one asshole out there who will dislike any video no matter what it is.

  • Johnny Cash made amazing music that still mattered, all the way to the end. Not a dud in the bunch.

  • legend man r.i.p

  • The hillbillies that were talking to their cousin\husband did not make it to 3rd grade to learn to be quiet and respect others.

  • I love John, and Dylan must have also.

That could be the only reason he didn't sue

him for stealing Don't Think Twice.

It's still a good song though.

  • <3 Forever.

  • why are these morons in the audience talking?????? what a moment

  • This is why I detest live recordings from an audio quality perspective, but then again We wouldn't see the artist as he performs so it's a necessary evil. People suck what can I say.

  • @cowboy6591 When a music artist or orchestra makes a live recording, there is going to be crowd noise, no matter how reverential the audience is. Even during live recordings of classical music by symphonies and philharmonic orchestras, there is always one or two people coughing or sneezing in the background. I don't think that the people in the audience believed that Johnny Cash was near death. They thought that he would recover from his ailments and live another 15 to 20 years.

  • This is just stunning - the chatter doesn't detract too much from the poignancy of the occasion, but it is disrespectful.

  • Yeah, the crowd in the background has no respect with all their talking during the song. I'm surprised they even clapped...let alone being aware a legend was performing. What a bunch of turds...should have shot 'em with a tazer...

  • Glad to see no dislikes, the first that does should be hunted down!

  • Don't think twice it's alright .... catchy

  • I hate too point out the negative in this video but the people in the back ground needed too shut the he'll up and listen they blew it they should have had silence for that man in black

  • He didn't die, he just went back home.

  • I appreciate being able to see this performance. I see a great musician. And though illness gave him a mountain to climb, it also resulted in a richness and authenticity in the lyrics he sang to us..about death, redemption, grief, and hope. And, yes, I agree with all the other comments regarding how sad it is that the audience could be distracted by anything in a moment such as that.

  • this just shows us how brave he was rest in peace Johnny

  • Johhny Cash is a kind of a legend which is rare in the world of music... What a man! With a big M.

  • @mattmanganon: Last public performances: 2003, July 05 U.S.A. Hiltons, VA Carter Family Fold 1 Intro (Janette Carter) 2 Folsom Prison Blues 3 I Walk The Line 4 Sunday Morning Coming Down 5 Ring Of Fire 6 Angel Band 7 Big River 8 Understand Your Man So while the performance DID include "Ring of Fire", "Understand Your Man" was the last song performed, had not been performed for 25 years, and thus is "special" to me....
  • great

  • ONe of the Greatest alltime singers in the world.Just my opinion of course.Rest in peace my beloved friend......JIM

  • Why don't those people shut the FUCK up!!!!!!!!!

  • death is a terrible disease

  • @bifi34 you are so right dudue, some one peeps dont wanna realize that death is true, and nothing above, beyond or beneath it,.i hope you not a hidden hater cuz that disease is bitchin lethal, dudude.i aint lyin

  • what kind of acoustic is that anyone?

  • @bluegrassman776 Probably a Martin, Johnny Cash usually played those.

  • You know why his left hand is twitching? Because playing guitar hurt him very much. Doing that performance was painful to him in both ways.

  • i know that his last public performance was playing Ring of Fire and i want to see that, unfortunately Youtube doesn't seem to have it.

  • @mattmanganon just search!

  • at originalrumplesniz: I heard this was a family reunion event. I'm sure the mikes are just picking up extra noise. Don't believe anyone is unappreciative.

  • I just can't believe all the folks in the audience couldn't keep their mouths shut and appreciate what they were witnessing. Like staring at the Mona Lisa while you smack your gum with an open mouth.

  • @originalrumplesnitz completely agree!

  • @originalrumplesnitz not sure where you're from,

but from your first sentence I'd say UK or at least educated 'Yank audiences',='' loud mouth fuckwit central'.

in the UK, we shut the fuck up and listen to the music, when we pay good money to watch a gig, we show respect to the artist, Sadly other parts of the world, that think they have the God given right and want to stamp their mark on the world, having not learned from our mistakes................yeaaaaa '' OIL'' fill in the gaps

  • He looks weak and frail here...but he was having fun! His voice improves some as he sings too.

  • great video!!! thank's a lot.
