  • DON'T underestimate Labs. They may be friendly and socialized dogs but when they need to bite they will. They know their power is big.

  • at last a bitch shouts like a tree went into her ass

  • I think thats awesome would love to train my Lab he is 3

  • interesting dog, screaming woman

  • Yup. I always know these Labs have enough power to give a heavy bite. But they are not like rotts, pitts or shepards. But they are protective and agile when needed.

  • Didnt realise a lab could do bite work but I wouldnt invest my safety in one. I'm getting a dog and having it trained for protection work but sure wont be a retriever! Their not intimidating and their bite isn't designed for this type of work! There's a reason there in the sporting group and not the working group. Im not sayin their bad dogs, just not good for this type of work!

  • labradors are some of the most gentle and sweetest dogs around. But dont understmate them they also make some of the best police dogs out there to.

  • lol :) That guy has been bitten by a lab.....ha.ha.ha

  • @bryo007 what an idiot. it's a game you moron. you need some training in learning the difference between fact and fiction.

  • @2005lablover ...Dough !! As if u r the single human being left in the world to understand that its a game...........................One more thing, i think its u who need some serious training on differentiating between what is humor and what is a serious comment.

  • This is a great fun little dog, I would own him any day!

  • So awesome!!!

  • Great bark and hold :)

  • dag... he is so fast

  • I am not surprised, labs can be quite vicious. My observation is that that lab does not have a full mouth grip. He needs some bite development. There is no way he was ready to participate in a dog trial.

  • You are indeed correct that Scooby needed some bite work development and was not prepared to trial. We never formally trained to trial him in bitework. We were out there having some fun. He did however win 2nd place in the professional protection division. He beat several dogs that had been training formally to trial. He's not vicious, he just has a really good forced retreive :-).

  • Ummm normal, well bred, well socialized labs are not vicious. Bitework has nothing to do with being vicious, it is just a giant game for them. it requires confidence, drive, and athleticism. :)

  • @SplishSplashCrash thank you, finally someone who knows what they are talking about. well said. My Rottie is doing personal protection training, and when you are working the prey drive it is all a game, she can go bite someones arm because her prey drive was built up to do that, and then a second later when there is a break go to that person for a bellyrub! This is why the owner can play tug with the dog with the bite sleeve and it doesnt mean the dog is "turning on them"

  • Nice job.

  • notice how everyone in here is like"aww how cool a lab doing bite training!" but you should search "pit bull protection training" and on those vids ppl are talking about how those dogs are worthless pieces of shit that need to die....funny how that works huh?

  • @devin844 Completely agree. It's hysterical because a 2yr old next door to us just got attacked by a yellow lab. I feel sorry for the girl and family but it's funny because of the breed. I have 11 amstaffs and they played with her every morning in the backyard without any incident.

  • Great job!! Good lab, working!! We need more of em!!

  • Thats so cool. I have never seen a lab doing bite work before. Are you training him for ring?
