  • looks like a UFO xD nice i love it!

  • nice.

  • ~Indeed, i've seen RC-models larger than that; --very attractive, ultimate in simplicity & structural-integrity, -wish this had shown the landing attitude, -please advise the normal landing-speed and stall-speed half-fueled...?

  • @AryanKnight Sadly i have not those details. I bet the designer and bu!ilder will answer if you contact him by email. Just google on verhees delta. The first site should be his. He is a friendly guy.

  • What is the stall speed and landing speed?

  • @BeulahLips 85 km/h stallspeed

  • Now I believe, with the right engine even a brick can fly

  • @youreale Yes, you are right. Bricks can fly with the proper engine, but ...don't compare this tiny airplane with a brick. It is a genius airplane. It has only what you need and when i recall a quote of my old teacher "you need to be a genius to design something very simple". Well, proof is here. Good work of Mr. Verhees. :)

  • im impressed, this is the coolest design that ive seen ,and stable flight at good speed too..jb

  • Because Boeing are trying to do a BWB with no tail fin...lol

  • lol .. I thought this was a RC plane .. I was like "tiny? .. that things HUGE". Then he stepped inside it and I was like WUT?!

  • Excellent design..

  • At firsr i thought some body was having a laugh.I certaily did'nt exspect it to fly .Looks a bit walter mitty.!

  • @Taildragger2411 It is not because it looks weird it is bad. Here it is even something very clever. And if Walter Mitty was a good engineer and have a open mind, it might look Walter Mitty. But ...this design deserves more credit.

  • Definitly needs an ejection seat!

  • @daytonamgs I have no idea how you came to that conclussion, but i think you just love ejection seats. I just love good airplanes. :)

  • @nestofdragons Is this in Limburg?

  • @bayenne5b Leopoldsburg.

  • AWESOME!

  • looks like an over grown Zaggi

  • lol, from the thumbs pic I thought this was a R/C Plane

  • Lift, low drag, and enough power to go fast... amazing, where do i sign for one?? lol

  • Very nice!!

    Was this his first build.

    Well done.

  • @Cjudd001 If i got the story right he used to build large scale models. The difference became very small. ;)

  • Me gusta

  • @golgo13thirteen Thanks. But all credit goes to the designer.

  • indeed

  • for me, this is insane...a very brave pilot indeed

  • @misterpotato2 Nothing to do with insanity. Just pure physics. Make something light, give it a small aerodynamic shape, a good engine and ...it goes fast. Control depends on many factors, but ...here is seems to be all fine. Very stable! So ...no insanity here. I guess the designer is closer to a genius. :)

  • @nestofdragons genius and insanity are usually one and the same

  • @RokkerBoyy Haha...i guess you are right. You need to be a bit insane to choose such a concept for a project. But ...once that choice is made, it takes a genius to work it all out and end up with a good product ...like this tiny but fast homebuilt airplane.
