We at Cooley high have starrs. back in 1993 Cooley high principal was against the New Dance Show coming to Cooley because of the Rep that we have.
They had a lot of security during the taping of the show. I have heard that the class of 1990 ,1991, 1992, is still salty to this day that they was not APART of the NO#1 SCHOOL in DETROIT from 1986-1996 Cooley High History.
thats me in the green kangol yellow nautica green girbuads A1 bka Aaron L feeling it in the good old days i miss them thanks 4 this memory class of 93
LOL I went to Osborn ('87) but it's a trip looking back at how we danced. same booty dancing kids do now. hard to tellt he difference. Damn, we can't tell our children nothin' about decent non-freak dancing. ...And I loved every move we bust'd lol Detroit Baby!!!
??? speed racer? ??? some belgian techno track? jammin unit - hypnomania adonis - no way back ??? ??? ??? i'm freaky? planet patrol - rock at your own risk (extract) ??? ??? come on baby?
Is it just me or did people danced like gods 15 years ago ? do we suck so bad now ? anyway, can somebody PLEASE tell me what is the background mix on this video ? namedropping, please.
Just shows that the Background mix, was from around 84'sh Planet rock samples thrown in...I used to jam to this back in the class of 84, in 93 used to rave to this in the Acid House scene... then on the the Rave scene.... thanks for post memories :-)
Naw Dude Detroit is the home of Tecno, we created it. these song are Detroit based. songs like Cosmic cars, Technicolor, It's Time all made here in the D. It's not that rave bullshit the white boys stole and tried to do over. Techno and Booty music was even before Luke
Detroit, Chicago have brought out some of the most prestige funk soul artists ever, if you listen very carefully to the sounds of the 80's, & early 90's you will hear traits of mid 70's Ohia Players, & rare groups like Gangters - Shake Your Body. I was into the Underground Rave scene within the UK, not the commercial whiteboy genre as ya put it lol. nothing can beat the sounds of the funky 70's 80's period!!!
That's been some years since people use to wear there hair like that or even dres like that. Although it's a lady at work that still wear her hair like that they call her 85.
Wait, hold up, now i'm a '91 grad of C-O-O---L-E-Y, Cooley, Cooley, Cooley High and i vaguely remember this episode. I can even see the track at the top of the screen in the gym. this brings back so many memories. thanks alot.
This takes me waaayyyy back, man! Back to the REAL-GOOD-OLE-DAYZ!!! Work it, work it! Only in the D could we act a fool like this and have a blast doin' it!
