@MrRicksym We also have a Fantom G 6 and the strings are very good like you say.
I like to sample retro keyboards and the strings in the video are from Klaus Wunderlich's 1980's Wersi organ. I know they don't sound like real modern sampled strings, but that was not the point of the video. The object is that I play the organ, so the organ should sound like an organ really . I get bored with sounds on modern keyboards because they don't bite you the same.
@MrRicksym Yes, well nothing compares with current multi-Gb orchestral sample libraries, not even the fantom. What this does sound like is a 1990's Orla keyboard trying to sound like strings - which is a unique sound, and kinda cute in it's optimism and cheesy shortcomings.
Hi, like the sound a lot. I have a Nord C1. Can you tell me where your bass pedal sounds are coming from? I don't like the Synth Bass on the Nord, it's awful.
@organaut Well I was about to look at the Nord as a replacement for those classic home organs, but after some research, they seem far too simple for my needs. Only sine wave stops, no rhythm generator and somewhat pricy. So I do not know what/where to get as an alternative, it seems theese are hard to find as things like single manualed keyboards with no pedals, Computer software like Acid or FL Studio have had too much to compete with...
@MinEgenKanal Well I don't know how acurate you need the sinus sound to be exactly like a Hammond, but an Orla KX980 keyboard might be worth considering.
They have nice organ flute drawbars which can sound close to a Wersi, nice instrumental sounds ,beautiful strings and good rhythm section they come up for sale secondhand fairly regularly for around 3 or 4 hundred pounds. I use one
for small gigs and I swear by it,not too technical either.
Hi, and glad you like it,I make mistakes and drink to much red wine though, but its good fun.
I am going to try and capture a swatch of klaus's lowrey and moog but its difficult to find a piece where there is not other things such as rhythm playing,
WOW...GREAT !!!! This is really the sound of Klaus, very very nice, Organaut !!! BRAVOOOO !! You are wonderful, because you repeat the sound of Wunderlich without the WERSI organ, wow !!!
Awfull!!!!! Hve you heard the strings on the Roland fantom g This sounds really corny and cheap, sorry!!

@gazzeel Hi there, the bass is coming from the dedicated bass section of
the Orla KX980 Keyboard (above the Nord)
The bass pedals I use however are Orla and connect straight to the bass section of the Orla Kx980, No midi involved.

Where does the rhythm generator sit? In the red organ I guess?
MinEgenKanal 1 year ago
@MinEgenKanal the rhythm generator comes from the Orla
keyboard on top, I also generate the organ footpedals from this keyboard as it has
a self contained bass section which doesn't rely on midi as most other keyboards
do. The Red Nord organ does not have any rhythm, just organ sounds.
