I actually discovered this myself... then I looked on youtube to see if anybody else had. Based on the date of this video, it was discovered a long time ago.
People don't seem to notice that THIS IS NOT THE STATUE FROM THE CENTER OF CLOCKTOWN but ANOTHER ONE INTIRELY. The map is not 1 whole piece, it is seperate maps with triggers that spawn you in another map. that statue is is part of the west CT map that is giving the illusion of a whole town, not just sections. it is in fact a whole statue in it's own that shares a transport place (in clock town.)
omg wait stay in the mayors house until 8:00 AM and be in madam (somethings) room on the right side! watch the chair just a few seconds b4 8:00 AM POOF! she's there.... O_O

xD I was just gonna post a video about this. It's a nice glitch. I used levitation instead of the bombchu glitch. The owl statue may not be that helpful but it can get you into the mayors office when you can't normally get in.
But you can't normally get there in this way. You know that you can see the statue from West Clock Town. But if you try to walk to it, an invisible trigger sends you to the South Clock Town area. If you're able to get OVER the barrier, you can get to that owl without "being in" South Clock Town; you're only in the part that you can see from West Clock Town. Why the owl statue actually works there, I don't know.
@kaoskastle probably lazy design at nintendo, they make models for the items enemies, doors and everything, they simply didn't create a fake owl, they used a real one in the scenery since they didn't think anyone could get over the trigger area. But since we can the owl actually does work the only real problem is why you end up in the mayors office when you start the file again.
how did u stay in the air when sword glitching..when i do it it takes like 1 sec till i fall back to the ground..and u hesitated and stayed up...how u stay up?

what was special about this video? was this supposed to be impressive? the levitation is nice but getting into south clocktown from west clocktown isnt really that great. it can be done just as easily by using codes and levitating/moon jumping there.
u found all the piece of hearts, i can't find the last 1, all i know it has 2 do with 4 grottes, the gossip stones and u have 2 play song 4 each race but i don't know the 4th song thats not 4 deku, goron, or zora.
It's either Goron's Lullaby, New Wave Bossa Nova or Sonata of Awakening, if you play one, you'll have to play it for every line of gossip stones in the grottos and each song turn each of the stone into a same color, when you play it for all the gossip stones they will be in the same color and give you the Piece of Heart. Got it? Good.
You just have to do the second jump fast. That's all.
Another way you can do this is doing the Any Item Epona glitch then warping to Clock Town. Now, do the AIE glitch on this Owl Statue again and then ride into West Clock Town. Use the ocarina and ride into the unloaded South CT. Now, press A to mount Epona and you can now save there.

after you do the first hover then you quickly have to do the second. it might be hard at first but youll get it. :)
