I have had windows vista for 4 years. I run it on a 4g of RAM laptop with 2ghtz. I have had one virus that caused no harm whatsoever and I have never had a blue screen if death. You guys are mad that you tried to upgrade when your computer could hardly run xp. Seriously Xp- vista ( if you can actually take care of it) vista was a great OS

Vista is an unstable crock of shit. Anyone who used it for more than a month knows that. And before some fanboy cunt tells me the "it's your system" bullshit, I've been running Vista off a quad core Phenom 9550, 4GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive and a 8800GTX. Vista to Windows 7 is what Windows ME was to XP: a half-finished bloated failure of an operating system, if you can even call it that.

@angleisthebest i agree with you. whenever i tried to download something, vista just popped up a bsod. it keeps happening whenever i download a programme from a secure website. also, i was running it on a core i7 processor quad core 980m. still crashes and very buggy. in the end, i sold my machine and bought the mac pro. the baseline model and i can say that mac os x is pretty fantastic. the mac pro is the same as chris pirillo one.i will respect the mac pro forever!no switching back to windows!

Windows Vista is rather simple and straightforward and definitely more customizable than Windows XP. However, Windows 7 is ultimately better than both.

This video reminds me of my QuickTime experience. I tried to play an HD video on Windows. It gave me a Blue Screen. I've never actually seen WMP give me one, and I've used it much more.

You gotta admit vista does suck, even as a hackintosh, my PC only crashed due to problems with the kernel not supporting the processor. Once I got the right kernel, no crashes... :)

My vista box is useless. We have spyware in the file browser. It crawls, it breaks. Vista sucks balls. It's Quad 2.6GHz and it's being outrun by a G4 mac mini at the moment.
