That's not really true. They were going to kill off someone in the Crisis at first it was going to be Nightwing, but they changed their mind to Superboy. They said they would have killed him off anyway. The lawsuit really had nothing to do with it. They said that if/when they want(ed) to keep using the character all they'd have to do is rename him. Sort of like the whole Captain Marvel/Shazam! deal. make sense?
If get any issue of DC Comic book it shows preview on what might occur in the comic books. One of them shows Batman RIP. Also u get that Justice League #0 talks about Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman past, present, and future. In the future shows Wonder Woman and Superman in Crime Alley talking about Batman last battle. I know I got the issue.
DC really messed up w/ Infinite Crisis. And they also messed up Teen Titans when they killed off Superboy/Conner Kent. It was the only DC book I was interested in. I know they will resurrect him eventually. I think it maybe during Final Crisis.
I've known Superboy only when he has his blackshirt ( DC.Comics are released in France since two years ), but i kinda like him. his relationship with wondergirl and Lex Luthor are great.
And i think that if he comes back, it would be Luthor who would bring him back. Perhaps with the help of Wondergirl, wich implicate that they could turned bad, like the future they visited indicates.
I havent read comics in over ten years, but from what I have noticed is that prices have ballooned, while stories and art have plummeted. When Superman died, they should have left him dead for at least 10 years. They had the Eradicator, Superboy, the Man of Steel, and the Cyborg to take his place for a long time. TOO bad they went for a quick buck.
I use to like superboy till round the time he got that lame black shirt "costume". I read an issue of batman/superman with him. it sucked. he was portrayed as a dumb jock. didn't like him getting superman's powers either. So i'd rather see a new superboy than continue to see the awful path he was on. which was far removed from what he wws suppose ro be! if they wanted him to have superman's powers he would have from the get go.
I suspect however that seeing that all the Titans (even Bart this time around) turned out evil, Tim will stop his experiments effectively erasing that time line and accepting to mourn Kon-El. If he evere does come back, I believe the key would be that he got stuck in the exploision that essentially created the multiverse, giving a lot of room for the writers to play, but tha safest bet is still to mourn him. Great job.

Nicely done. I always thought that DC would utilize Conner better, seeing as how he was a contemporary version of the 'Smallville' Clark, but with no destiny constraints. Guess it was easier to kill him off than to write a decent series.
The whole Infinite Crisis was handled so badly. So hard to follow, '1 year later' starting before the last IC issues are even out??
Its such a laugh that they actually contend that its de-confusing the mess they created after the original Crisis. If anything, they've once again made things worse & the comics industry will continue its downward spiral for a few more years. <sigh>

Kon El is cool, especially when he wore the black leather jacket. I will always miss him. He was the best Superboy there was. Who could of guessed his soulmate was Wondergirl?

I got every issue of superboy, young justice, and the teen titans. And I wish they would have kept him around. If they do bring him back he won't be the same. Great video, next you should do one to impulse/kid flash/the flash

As much as I miss Kon, and I do, I'm glad they didn't kill Dick instead. The video is nice though, great song (even though I'm no Smallville fan), I'd have added more Tim. XD

Nicely done. I always thought that DC would utilize Conner better, seeing as how he was a contemporary version of the 'Smallville' Clark, but with no destiny constraints. Guess it was easier to kill him off than to write a decent series.

Your right that the reason they killed him off... it was easy and not that hard. It was ether Nightwing or Superboy. You can't kill the first Robin.

The whole Infinite Crisis was handled so badly. So hard to follow, '1 year later' starting before the last IC issues are even out??
Its such a laugh that they actually contend that its de-confusing the mess they created after the original Crisis. If anything, they've once again made things worse & the comics industry will continue its downward spiral for a few more years. <sigh>
But this video kinda takes that mess & makes a cool tribute from it. At least SOMEONE 'gets it'! Nice job!

So he just died in Infinite Crisis, right? I was so confused in that story, I didn't know what he did exactly. Too bad Superboy hasn't gotten an animated counterpart yet (at least Tim Drake and Kid Flash have on various DC shows). Great pictures, lovely tribute to the Boy of Steel.
