The fact that it has an aluminum block doesn't limit its power. Look at the all aluminum TT lambo engines that have 1000+ hp or the Aluminum merlin blocks they run in the buick GN's
The 4G63 is the fastest 4 cylinder on the planet, so basically in the universe. Although I'm a huge GM fan, I have seen the Cobalt SS beat all 4 cylinders on the Nurnbergring in Germany. But face it, Rau, Shep... they know the 4G63 is the top dog. If GM suplants it, it better be soon I don't see the cobalt being around much longer which will probably scrap the ecotec. DSM's REALLY do rule the 4 cylinder world my friend.

500 is nothing on a stock block. The 4g63 has done that countless times.
