This was one of the most moving videos I have ever watched.Danny Gaither did great and I still miss him. But his home now is so much better than here. I would be willing to bet Danny is singing with the angels ever chance he gets.
Ah Hoover...thanks so much for that inspiring and uplifting song...its been years since I heard it sang by a father and son at a church in our city. It;s a tearfilled song and much worthy of enjoyment. Thanks for sharing it. God bless you greatly my friend.
What a golden voice! God allows challenges to come our way, Dan was no exception but I personally think he passed with flying colors. His voice will echo down the streets of gold for sure!
I was PRIVILEGED t hear the original Bill Gaither Trio in 1974 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and it was one of the most INCREDIBLE nights of worship and praise I've ever experienced!!!
I believe that Danny Gaither lived this song. His voice was so beautiful even though it was lower after his treatments.
Tis song is so true. God supplies our every need and the Christian life is so exciting the longer we serve God the sweeter He grows. As we get older and our strength grows weaker the more Gods grace abounds! Our Lord promises never to leave us or forsake us and I know He was holding Danny's hand until he stepped into eternity to be in God's presence.Our Lord is faithful!
How can you not tear up by such beautiful words, especially with Danny Gaither singing them, bringing deeper meaning to them. And now Danny is singing them in God's presence.
If you can make it through this song without feeling some kind of emotion (joy, sorrow, peace, or anything) then you really need to go back and listen to it again and think about what is being said.
Every church or group of believers needs to have a Mark Lowry. You know, one amongst us who, with a childlike spirit, follows the urging of the Holy Ghost without thinking. Then moments like this which carry over into eternity are allowed to happen, and we're all given a taste of heaven. In this day and age, beloved, FOLLOW the leadings of Jesus through His Holy Spirit, for now is the time folks are READY for the REAL presence of God in their midst. JESUS is LORD!
Danny's music will live forever as a reflection of his beautiful soul. We all miss him. Thank God for the recording of his music and the interviews. His voice and music is a prayer that we all share.
I miss Danny a lot. He always sang with such conviction. I always have a chill run down my spine and a tear in my ear when I hear this interview and song. Like right now.
Is that Danny's daughter standing on his right. I recognize Vonnie on his left. Great video, All these Gaither videos are a great way to be inspired. I try to listen to one each morning.
Each time I see the late Danny Gaither in this interview/video, singing this particular song, I'm moved to tears. What a wonderful gift he and He have continued to share with us for so long.
**Hoover4000** - Thank you so much for continuing to offer these extraordinary Christian videos. It means so much to many of us. God bless.
Danny didn't mind this...people should remember that God said that if one wants to be great, they must be the servant of all - Danny has learned that, and in that, he has learned more about Jesus and his relationship to Jesus DEEPENED in that knowledge....
I had the opportunity to attend a lot of Bill Gaither Trio concerts in the late 70's. And the high point for me was always hearing Danny Gaither. A voice that was a gift from God. I miss him.
I have been blessed to attend and sing at this event about 8 or 9 times. The best and most touching moment I will always remember is when Danny sang. Thanks for posting this video and Thank you Danny.
That's great. Question though, Gloria said in the interview something about if Danny gets his voice back that she'd sing again. Did I misunderstand her? Does she not sing anymore, if so, I wonder why not-does anyone know? Come to think of it, I only remember her speaking.
she used to sing with the trio but i think a mixture of danny losing his voice and bill starting the vocal band caused them to stop touring so gloria didn't really sing anymore, thats what she meant.
O man o man o man, the people on that stage that have left such a legacy in this world... What a blessing, what an incredible richness to know a little part of their lives and testimonies!
The more I listen to this........the sweeter it grows! AMEN!

Ev'ry need He is supplying,
Plenteous grace He bestows;
Ev'ry day my way gets brighter,
The longer I serve Him,
The sweeter He grows.
The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows,
The more that I love Him, more love He bestows;
Each day is like heaven, my heart overflows,
The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows.
