  • I watch the show daily the way this interview was conducted is how every interview is conducted. Unless, it's someone that just doesn't fit this style i.e Gina Carano which was a terrible interview. Sajak was epic and got the show much needed pub. Ya'll who didn't watch till this video.....watched.

  • To all you dumb asses who are dissing Dan. This a sports show on ESPN 2, not some entertainment show. Please keep all of your "The interviewer is being disrespectful" comments to yourself. Better yet watch some of the other videos of his, then make your comments.

  • I can't wait until this giggling jerk gets old so people can laugh about him the way he disrespected Jimmy Stewart and Lucille Ball. Nobody stays young forever, so let's see how he likes it. At least people have heard of THEM. I never heard of him until this interview, have you? He treated Pat Sajak like a joke, but he's the friggin' punchline. Moron!

  • This was in my YouTube history because???

  • Not sure why anyone would grant this LeBatard fellow an interview. Apparently he only cares about celebrities who haven't reached the legal age of consent.

  • Denl

  • I've been drunk at jobs in the past. Of course I was a bartender in those days.

  • Who knew Pat Sajak was so funny?

  • Why did everyone make a biggie about him drinking on the show 100 years ago!!! Ppl just like to make headlines.

  • Hahahah two or three... or six! That's funny as hell..

  • Pat Sajak would make a great "tonight" show kind of host. He's a lot funnier than most of who does it now and he has lots of class

  • @winstonmichaels welcome to 23 years ago. He failed miserably

  • Choose four consonants: D-R-_-N-K

    Now Choose a vowel: U

  • I wondering what this will do for Wheel Of Fortune, Will the show stay on or get off the air?

  • @MsKingkog Why would this make a difference. If it would, I'm sure Pat Sajak would have lied...

  • Pat Sajak has a huge fuckin' head, I can't get over that! Every time I turn on my TV in the evening I am reminded of how big a head he has in HD. He should seriously go in the Guiness World Records for having a big fucking OJ Simpson-sized head

  • I'm going, "Wow! Jimmy Stewart! Lucille Ball!" and the host kills the moment by saying they're so old.

  • @HindsightPOV I was thinking the same thing. They impress me more than meeting a celebrity from today. Those two are legends.

  • I wouldn't mind having a drink with him with others to hear his stories

  • Pat Sajak= FTW!

  • LOL, "tell me what Vanna White smells like" What a great question.

  • Wow, Dan LeBatard just laughs at Jimmy Stewart and Lucille Ball because they are old? What does he think about Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley, then?

  • OMG. Amazing how the mind works. At 6:15 I looked to the bottom right of the screen and for a split second, I could have sworn it said "Smell Vagina"!

    I swear!

  • @tommyjimster LOL and what made it funnier is the fact that he put two fingers up to his nose at that part

  • Pat Sajak seems like a real down to earth guy. Nice interview.

  • Yes! Pat Sajak rocks.

  • Only seen a handfull of episodes of WoF, but Pat Sajak is a cool ass dude. Borderline legendary

  • 4:04 Dan LeBatard was.very disrespectful to Jimmy Stewart & Lucille Ball.

Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz are icons who created “Desilu Productions” & helped open doors for Cuban Americans in television, some shows produced at Desilu include.. The Andy Griffith Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Lucy Show and Star Trek

Who does he look up to… Beyonce & Justin Bieber?

  • @spybug51

I agree. I thought he was horrible towards historically iconic people. Plus he was disrespectful and flippant towards Sajak's life stories. I was sitting at home going "wow! Jimmy Stewart!" - and that jerk starts laughing.

I'm in my mid twenties and I don't think that is "old". I wish these interviewers would give Sajak a little more respect.

  • @musicallie44 Lebatard has a radio show in Miami that I've listened to for years and Pat and Dan are friends. Pat has been on a bunch of times and it was all in fun. Don't be so serious.

  • @musicallie44 completely agree. how can u just brush off jimmy stewart and lucille ball? theyre acting legends...hell im 18 and i know that was completely out of line on his part.

  • Pat, you're a class act. Live long and prosper my friend.

  • Another great thing about working Vietnam...he had 100% of the audience share.

  • fake

  • Pat Sajak=beyond epic.

  • dan lebatard reeeally thinks dan lebatard is funny.

  • Pat Sajak is awesome. I really miss him being on Twitter, he was one of the funniest celebrities there

  • I grinned all the way thru this.

  • I remember when people chose stuff from a big turntable. Pat nailed it when he said it was cheesy. Nonetheless, the show is still going strong and I like Pat even MORE after this I terview.

  • Dude, whatEVER. I'm 29 and meeting Jimmy Stewart is damn cool to me.

  • @Lym0re Says the person who can't spell his last name right. It's StewarT

  • @godisntrealumad oooh, I made a typo on a touch screen smartphone with auto correct. Cruise me

  • @godisntrealumad crucify

  • This guy is great.

  • Respect for Pat Sajak +1000000 points

  • if i'm drunk behind the WHEEL i get a DUI

  • Getting drunk with vannawhite. Life is good.

  • How does Dan LeBatard have a job? He sucks!! Can't even compose himself with that stupid laugh of his.

  • P _ T S _ J _ K _S _W_S _ME

  • @QuikZach I'd like to buy a vowel....

    I?

  • @QuikZach Id like to solve the puzzle, PAT SAJAKS AWESOME

  • god, i should hope he was hosting that POS drunk. if he was doing that sober, i'd think he was really desperate

  • I knew this guy had too much of a bubbly personality.

  • 2 or 3 or 6. Awesome jump there in drinks, lol.

  • 4:43 - Mista Sajak, you just became relevant again :)

  • I'M impressed by Jimmy Stewart and Lucille Ball! :-)

  • Pat is a great guy. I loved his talk show.

  • Pat Sajak is one cool dude

  • Continue from Last post: Well, at the time Chuck Berris and Johnny Carson were sharing the "Green Room" since there studios were next to each other and everybody showed up at the Party Across the street.

  • I remember that Restaurant. I have been to a number of after production parties for NBC at the restaurant and got very hammered at the Party for the Gong Show, with Chuck Berris. I was at the bar and Gene Gene the Dancing Machine handed me a gigantic champaign glass with the inscription "I Bet You Can't" in bold white letters, filed with Champaign. I drank the whole thing in one gulp or three and I was hammered for the rest of the evening. What happened after that?

  • Papi LaBatard "Tell me what Vanna White smells like?" LOL

  • pat sajak is hot!!!!

  • @nicolefreak5 Your username makes sense.

  • You're always first in my heart.

  • Hahaha, this was a fun little watch.

  • Wow, the interviewer is being a major jackhole about Lucille Ball and James Stewart...I'm 18 and am super impressed by both of those people and respect them infinitely more than most 'current' celebrities.

    Just sayin'...

  • @strawberryiguana The interviewer Dan has a radio show in Miami, and him and Pat Sajak are close friends and Pat comes on the radio show often. I think he was just screwing with him as a friend would do.

  • I've always liked Pat Sajak.

  • The show was boring at times, maybe a blitzed Pat Sajak and some JACK was all the show needed... awww television

  • I hope, getting drunk wasn't the only thing he did with Vanna during these dinner breaks.

  • @glaked32 I'm sure it wasn't!

  • Wow. Look at those bags under his eyes.

    Get some sleep Pat.

  • Ohhhh I love this video, let me count the ways! Mister Pat Sajak being INTERVIEWED! My world is complete now I MUST SAY!

  • Funny interview. Pat is a bit of a throw-back now, and honestly, compared to the crapola out there now (reality celebs, Snooky, Kardashians, etc), throw-back is good.

  • Shit was that funny or what. I wish Pat Sajak did a full 9 innings of a baseball game or something.

  • am i watching tim and eric right now?

  • What the fuck difference does it make how old Pat's stories are? Jimmy Stewart's a classic screen actor.

Also, Pat seems kind of cool here. I don't know why, but I always have this prejudice when I watch game shows where I think the host must somehow be a jerk. Good on him for doing the show loaded. If you can get away with it, why not? :D

  • this is actually one of my favorite shows on espn

  • Don't hate on Lebatard jerks!

  • When Sajak did weather in LA, he was really funny. I'm sure he was drunk then too. Lebitard and his dad were hilarious too in this interview. When they criticized Sajak for telling stories about Jimmy Stewart and Lucile Ball, Lebitard forced Sajak to admit that he is an aging drunk comedian who likes to knock a bottle back before interviews.

  • That interviewer is burning the shit out of Pat!

  • Interviewer = asshole. I'd rather Jimmy Stewart and Lucille Ball love me than Justin Bieber and Snooky.

  • Thumbs up if YAHOO! News brought you here!! :))

  • that interviewer is annoying as balls, STOP LAUGHING SO MUCH YOU FAT FUCK!!!!

  • Sajak is fantastic. I remember when he was on the radio show w/ Dan and Stugotz years ago and he killed it. Some caller said, "3rd and 20 and Wink Martindale is coming over the middle are you going helmet to helmet?" KILLED ME!

  • Haha Dan you are such an ass. Poor Sajak.

  • Imagine if Bob Barker did TPIR hammered, contestants would've gotten 2,3 or 6 spins on the Big Wheel.

  • @cr3861 "oh i'm sorry you got 40 cents..you know what take another spi- no really just do it"

  • hahaha "Two or three or six"

  • Wow, Pat Sajak is awesome. Who knew.

  • @NickSmielak the producers of wheel of fortune must have him on a leash... he's cheesy on there, but hilarious everywhere else.

  • @heelsrule1988 I've seen him have his funny moments on Wheel, they've just been rare.

  • Awesome

  • i wonder if pat's interview would pass a sobriety test? if he was hammered, i think he was still funny! thanks papi and dan for the great humor!

  • lol "I'm hammered at this moment"

No reaction from either from them

  • @BBraich05 that awkward moment makes it more funny :D

  • @BBraich05 How could you not respond to something like that? I came up with about 10 responses to that just sitting here watching it.

  • Classic epic Sajak

  • Good stuff!
