I neglected this game until last week... i thought it was overrated, but after 5 years i finally decided to play it, i borrowed it of my buddy... And wow... it's one of the few games i've played that actually moved me... So good, why did i neglect it? Anyway, on to mass effect 2 now... Hope that's just as good, or better ;)

@louderpowder I like Ashley. If you really get to know her, she's not the racist bitch she appears to be at first. She harbors resentment towards aliens because her grandfather was the first man to surrender to an alien species during the First Contact War, and so the Williams name has been tarnished forever. But Ashley is a fierce and loyal Alliance soldier who would gladly die to defend humanity. No tech or biotic powers, just some heavy armor and a powerful assault rifle :)

@goheklikaplunco I agree. But it even seemed like she was beginning to forgive aliens, or at least Garrus. When you meet her on Horizon in ME2, if you bring Garrus in your squad, Ash seems genuinely hurt that he's with Cerberus too.

Mass Effect 1 had the rewarding payoff of ending the guy I had been tracking down for the entire game. It had a story arc that Mass Effect 2 lacked, seemingly dropped in favour of character development. That's why I like ME1 more.

@190shepard mmm Mass effect is a great series, one of the best RPS's ever made, but you can't compare it to half life or halo. They are both great and uniqe games in their own way, but I must add, without Half Life FPS's as we know them today would not exist so you should at least respect it. As for Elder Scrolls, Compareing it to Mass Effect is like trying to say a cat is not feline, it is utterly pointless. They are two completely different games, both amazing in their own right.

I love this song... the Ending for ME2 wasn't as dramatic, but it was dramatic enough, I suppose. The Ending theme was kinda droll compared to M4. I hope ME3's Ending has different ending themes based on if you're a Renegade or Paragon player. This song, for example feels more like a Paragon Ender Theme.

There's things Bioware could learn from Bethesda and the reverse. TES has it's advantages and ME it's own. It is pointless to say one is truly better than the other because both do it differently. Honestly guys, comparing Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect is pointless. Yes, they're both RPGs. But honestly, RPG is too broad of a term. You can't compare an open world RPG to a linear RPG. They're two completely different things. Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect dominant their own respective field, but cannot be compared as they have completely different directions.
