Aw, I LovE the Dark Crystal! It's magical and wondrous, I can't wait to see The Power of the Dark Crystal. I hope it doesn't ruin the first one, although from what I've been reading the story line sounds good and the artwork and puppetry looks AmaZinG *(^_^)*

The story line sounds good. I have faith that this will be a good film. Notice I said film and not movie. A movie sequel usually sucks, but this is not a movie ! This is art ! It is a film and I hope they do not destroy the beauty of the original.

The Dark Crystal is my favourite childhood film, possibly my favourite film ever, the epic amount of work that went into this film is astounding, everything about the film is truley breathtaking.

Cannot wait to see the sequel, at least they are still using puppets. :)

I am emotionally exhausted from going back and forth with all the rumors that circle this movie. I wish the Henson's would give us some real answers about the fate of this film, but no. There is really no need for a sequel to have been made.

The first one was perfect the way it was and the sequel will probably be ruined with overuse of CGI.

If you had read any of the production publicity, they are specifically not relying on CGI, but instead using it compliment the animatronics. Can't wait to see another story in the world of the Dark Crystal.

My concern is that we seem to be in an age where muppet-type characters are no longer considered cute, especially with Jim Henson dead.

I am sure we all remmeber the much maligned Jar Jar Binks. This seems to tell me people will gag over the characters in this film.

I'll never forget seeing The Dark Crystal in the theater! I was 7 years old when it came out and it was snowing in town and there was already a couple inches on the ground when I saw it! It added to the whole feel of the movie in a cool kind of way!! I am pumped about the sequel!!!
