I read The History of Love in a 24 hr. period because I was so drawn into the life of her character, Leopold Gursky . I was strongly affected by the surprising and emotional conclusions and was moved to immediately contact Nicole Krauss to tell her how much meaning the book had for me.
Isn't she beautiful?

The History of Love is by far my favourite book. I'm not a huge fan of Man Walks into a Room though.

Her husband is a miserable hack. Her prose is solid but the novels themselves are a bit precious and "young."

History of Love is one of my favourite books. Wonderful to see video of the author talking about the writing process.
