What in the hell is this song supposed to be about? I have absolutely no clue. There's a few lyrics repeatedly sung over and over; "Into the flood again." The ONLY thing I can think of is this song portraying Humanities SIN, then God washing SIN off the face of the earth. Humanity relishes again a thousand years later, the cycle repeats. The ending "Have I run too far to get home", and "Left you here alone", to me, means that he feels more 'enlightened' than someone he loves. err something.. :)
