It's great that Kurzweils are more attainable these days. A decade ago you could only dream of owning one so digital technology aint all bad.
The PC3K is tempting me but so is a Poly Evolver, and I'm leaning more towards the PE as I can just use orchestral sounds from my DAW with Garritan. However, the Kurzweil orchestra patches sounds powerful and upfront, like a blockbuster soundtrack, while the Garritan sound closer to Roland, and more like traditional.
Thanks for posting these videos... very informative.
Question: do you know if the PC3s have a patch/program for string trills? So far I've tracked down tremolos, pizz and mute strings, but no trills... Thanks!
As far as I know, the only difference is the keybed. Kurzweil PC3x has hammer weighted keys, but the PC361 has semi-weighted-action and less keys. I've not heard much more about it, but what I've heard is that those who have it, like it :).
@ 6:00 sounds like Goron Village!

Hi, as far as I know, there's no trills, but you might be able to use the arpeggiator for trills. Or just make trills manually with your fingers :).

Falgor, I plan on getting the PC361 version. Do you know something about it (and if it's identical with the PC3 / X) ?
