@xXdethrowXx Actually... all of our allies in Reach are the Army. The marines are prominent in the other games, but the army exists too. Noble Team is part of the Army as well- hence different rankings from the usual Spartan rankings. In fact, maybe I'm wrong, but I think the entire Spartan-III project is part of the army.

The reason why you almost never see the Army in Halo is because (obviously) the army operates on Land missions. In Halo you are almost always in space, in some other planet, aboard some ship. Where as in Reach when Noble Team was defending it, the Army was there fighting with them.

@MadnessJuan Yeah, I couldn't remember if they were all army because Ackerson was Army initially. Though yes, S-IIIs are primarily Navy with the exception of Noble Team, who's Army.

And that would typically be the case- Which it was with Reach, as we still had SOME military fighting power at Reach. But in the Battles of Earth (1 and 2), you're exclusively with Marines. Though it's easy to assume that's because the UNSC's at its limit in military fighting strength.
