Problem with becoming king is that in this land you can only have a queen, its called a queendom. Men are little more than pawns used to marry off to other affluent families or nations to establish alliances. The "king" acts as head of the army and the captain of the queens knights. For the brother to become king would be to usurp the throne from his sister the rightful queen.
Fun Fact, in this ending, the 'child queen' there is the main character's younger sister, and she is forcefully married to Gizel, that guy seen in the ending.

@jcdenton2k I wouldn't necessarily call Gizel a pedo. Yes he marries Lym, but it's a superficial marriage to give him all the power. They don't even sleep in the same bedrooms. Throughout the games game Gizel is clearly still in love with Sialeeds, and he's devastated when he finds out she died.

I hated Barows all the more after watching this while playing. I am modeling my Frey after my own personality and I would NEVER act like this. Damn you, Barows, I hope you choke on a fishbone and die miserably.

yea. I usually hate bad alternative endings but I actually liked this ending. I wonder how Falena will be on the hands of Gizel and Lym. Who knows, Sialeeds might be up to something. It'll be great if someone made a fanfiction out of this alternate ending.

it is strange because if you refuse, you learn that the plan of Barrow was not to kill the Prince but to make him get married with his daughter and keep him under his control... Alenia use the world "apparently", so I suppose in reality it is Lucretia who kill him. She warn him at the beginning that if he betrayed the cause, she would betraye him...

In this ending it leaves a possibility of Lym becoming an powerful but evil queen with the power of the Sun rune. Very interesting.
