I'm planning on playing one of the songs from Suzuki 3 for my audition on June 5th, but I'm not "pro" and the audition requires 1st and third position.

Any tips on which song I should select? Because I haven't started a song yet and I need to get my butt working o_o"

Now, you say a song from book 3 but the audition requires 1st and 3rd position? There is only one piece in book three where I use the 3rd position. It's the Humoresque (piece 4). This is also a very beautiful piece and it's not so difficult. Another great piece is the 1st movement from the Vivaldi concert (book 4), donno if it is too difficult for you...?

At about 1:19, the section has a different message, if you will, than the beginning. You should play that part a little more slower and more smooth to achieve that different feeling. Also, at 1:20 and 1:33/34, the slurred legato A to G shouldn't be too short for this style, separate it, but not too much. I also think you should shorten the grace notes a little more too. Otherwise, intonation is pretty good and overall performance was good too. So keep up the good work!
