This is my favorite classical piece of all time. My favorite part is 5 - 5:25. Very climatic.

Yo Yo ma is a great cellist, but Stjepan Hauser's interpretation in my opinion gets further, he is more passionate, without being aggressive...in the spirit of sir Rach.

@cecilfso interesting....when i think of an 'aggressive' cellist i immediately think of the likes of Rostropovich, who makes yo-yo ma sound like a puppy playing the cello

I came to it from seeing your tribute to Eva Cassidy with Fields of Gold, and was thinking of learning that song for a memorial to my sister who I just learned had died after she'd been missing for 12 years.
