Check out Benjamin Radford's article on the 'Chupacabra' in Fortean Times (FT271 Feb. 2011). It seems the 'Chupacabra' was just a figment of peoples' imaginations. To quote: 'There are several examples in the world of cryptozoology in which eyewitnesses have reported encountering creatures, aliens, and monsters that they actually saw only in films.' By extension of logic, could Jack be something similar (O.K., they didn't have film then, but they had novels, and opium, and hysteria...) ?
@MrDoremouse Which Chupacabra is that about? the central American dog creature or the south American/ Puerto Rican creature? of course hysteria may indeed play a role. However witness testimony of people who are credible, of things which in a way are beyond the imagination is not to be ignored or wrote off as pure hysteria or a drug induced psycho-active experience.
While He was found in London...Many might not know he was also seen in Baltimore in the states...And a few other places in USA...The fact that police also reported it in USA makes Spring-Heeled Jack a very likely being
I really do believe most would like the feature screenplay I've written of SHJ. Though you MUST understand it's more of a penny dreadful l than an all out factual account of what happened. Since the budget would be so massive I couldn't possibly shoot it myself so I'm making a graphic novel of my story which is quite in depth.
Below, is a link to an awesome Facebook group for SHJ.
Stranded extraterrestrial banished to Earth from his own world and left here by UFO crew taking his Punishment out on the primative inferior Earthlings of 19th century London..... Earthlings are FOOOOLSS and you are all DOOOOMMED A ha hahaha ha ha ha haaaa!!!!
I believe Spring Heeled Jack may have been a Stranded Extra Terrestrial left behind purposely by a UFO crew that perhaps landed somewhere in barns common in the dead of night back in 1837 he then carried out these strange crimes taking his Banishment out on humanity. His being punished drives him to punish the inferior 19th century residents of Earth!!! Wot u sayin???
I've written a feature on it already. It's more of a feature length Penny Dreadful than an all out factual account of what happened. Since the budget would be so massive I couldn't possible shoot it myself Im making a graphic novel of my story which quite in depth.
I beleve there is some connection with jack the ripper and this creature in more of a haunting of the city of London case. It could have been a humanoid Or some thing like mothman a omen to the English people
The Mad Gasser of Matoon also stands out. Strange, manipulative interdimensional forces manifesting right out of the nightmare-land of the communities they prey on
@bluenail90 probably wouldve happened already as the story has been around for over a century and im sure at least one incident was perpetrated by a copycat, but still id love to see someone try to impersonate him.if he cant leap 50 feet in the air effotlessly than ur probably right about him being caught
A question here, Did Spring heeled jack ever hurt anyone? It's just i come across many stories where people claim that he didn't hurt or kill anyone, as in your documentary, you tell that there were several lethal attacks of SPJ. Which answer is more correct?
Spring Heeled Jack has hurt people, but usually it wasn't very severe beyond scratches and cuts and extreme shock. However he has also been blamed for the death of Maria Davis a thirteen year old prostitute he pushed off a bridge. However this can't be conformed.
@Kageyamasisters That sounds weird... i mean why prostitute? Can this relate to Jack the Ripper or was it just a random victim... still sounds as those two are connected somehow.

SPRING HEEL JACK is the BEST! Pisses over the Ripper, Ghosts, Bigfoot, Loch Ness, Mothman, Roswell &c. Even the Yowie & Min Min lights.

Definitely sounds like an alien or a mothman. As mothman had the red eyes and was able to leap anywhere

Does anyone know the name of the eerie music that starts at 00:53 ? I've heard it being used in quite a few creepy programs over the ears.

@Toyotomi yes but not sure if this is the right name for it but if you search for 'sim city 4 terrain' there is a version of it there.
