so...
1. get hatchet buckler and a potion
2. get ur boots
3. get elder, you can now jungle
4. get riftshards (note that you can lvl up riftshards by buying the recipe again up to lvl4
Savage mace outdamages riftshards until you hit ~230 damage. Also you are far better off getting a shrunken head and whispering helm so you don't pop elder and get 1 shotted in a team fight. (Or shrunken and elder but whispering helm is much better overall since it builds into symbol). Not that it really matters. No one picks melee carries anymore :(
WAIIIIT Nigma just said SS is a carry and is not usefull early? you shitting me. SS Is a beast mid game prolly the best hero in the game actually. SS is also a decent late game carry (not as good as the others but he's good)

Ive played both LoL and HoN, and i must say HoN is better for a numerous of reasons
1. Lol forces u to pay if u dont want to play those 5 free heroes for about a week untill u can get a new hero, and to me its kinda lame to stick with one for that long, and no i dont want to pay for chash all the time to get new heroes
2. No strategy, Lol doesnt seem to have any strategi casue 90% of the heroes can carry or semi carry, and ofc melee heroes are 10x better then ranged.
@Xardrion You don't HAVE to pay for anything in LOL other than bundles and skins but they don't add jackshit to the game. If you want a new champ, you can buy it with free points, gained by matches. So no, you don't have to pay any real money for champs.
Any champ can carry, if fed. If you feed any champ, you are doing it wrong, that simple.

Incorrect. A carry is primarily defined by its primary attributes, namely agility. Agility governs attack speed, thats why most carries are agility heroes. Because "to carry" means getting good items and autoattacking the enemy to death. Autoattack scales with level and items. Reason other attributes dont carry is because skills dont scale with items. There are exceptions of coarse like puppet master with his critical or predetor who has insane lifesteal based on percentage.
@ArtemReaper To carry means to carry your team, most likely to victory. Send a good nymph vs a Soulstealer mid who cant aim and nymph will get tower in minute 6 and start slaying with spellshard, codex, hellflower harkons whatever. OFC that is not really something suitable to pull off in competitive play, but as HoN is a very itemdependant game already 1-2 expensive items can give an "supporter" the carryness to prevent the enemy from ever catching up. A carry can also be simply the anticarry.
@JSernProductions thunderbringer, pyromancer, blacksmith. but also heavy nukers are pebbles,deadwood, gauntlet, devourer (even tho its also disabler in a way...)

Funny, some of my favorite heroes are supporters or babysitters, even though I play really Kamikasey.
You know like the Chaman and Nymph, or initiators like Behemoth or Magmus.
My stats are really bad because I rarely play Gankers or carries. Most carries seem boring to me and ganking can be really frustrating if your team doesn't sync with you.
In the Beginning you show us "carrys"... well there stands 5 hard-core carrys.. but Soulstealer dont deserve to stay in their circle... Hes more like a semi-carry/hard-ganger/heavy nuker/semi-initiator.... heavy nuker? yes i think so... his max dmg output is 3*300 dmg and hist ulti does over lets say 900 thats 1800 magical dmg... so thats the reason i think hes more like a ganging nuker than a hard-carry
He's a hard carry. He is a great ganker with his hands like you said. But those hands create one of the fastest farming carries in the game. He can whipe out creep waves and neutrals faster than pyro or any nuker intelligence hero. Sorry but he is one of the top hard carries.
@Gozilla1014 I can't say I agree with you but I think Nigma's point to that is, Soul Stealer's skills really can nuke but in the middle to last parts of the game he will be mostly be reliant on DPS making him a hard-carry... In most cases in the early part you could call him a nuke or other stuff but building him into a carry makes him a hard-carry, unlike other nukes being built into a carry, some just really cant be a hard-carry no matter how much they try... they tend to become semi-carry :D
tanks are usually just tanks, but in case of being somthing else they can also be gankers, and a few tanks are innitiators. It depends alot of what items you buy.
Gankers and nukers are like the same for me... maybe the different is that gankers might get more dmg than mana regen and derefore be half-carries
Babysitters are mostley supports or gankers who can make the enemy low enough the let the carry get the kill.

For me after playing both Hon and LOL I have decided for me Hon is the better choice, I really like HON in fact ive purchased it after beta and play it more then any other game I have. It was my understanding that tanks should rarely be heavy disablers because otherwise they would be fiercely overpowered. and one hero fits that category that was not in dota - electrician. this is why this hero is so immensely popular. so much of a tank and disabler at the same time it makes we want to barf.

naaa i doubt that sand wraith is the best carry hero... chronos is much more effective and in the end game he can go 3 vs 1 without any problems and worries of being killed
HoN has lots of Original heroes, only like 50 percent are dota heroes, btw what's so fucking fun about having around 7-8 heroes to choose from and ive seen how hard it is to unlock heroes, takes about a week just to get 1, LoL is for little kids, No gold loss up

Incorrect. A carry is primarily defined by its primary attributes, namely agility. Agility governs attack speed, thats why most carries are agility heroes. Because "to carry" means getting good items and autoattacking the enemy to death. Autoattack scales with level and items. Reason other attributes dont carry is because skills dont scale with items. There are exceptions of coarse like puppet master with his critical or predetor who has insane lifesteal based on percentage.

@ArtemReaper To carry means to carry your team, most likely to victory. Send a good nymph vs a Soulstealer mid who cant aim and nymph will get tower in minute 6 and start slaying with spellshard, codex, hellflower harkons whatever. OFC that is not really something suitable to pull off in competitive play, but as HoN is a very itemdependant game already 1-2 expensive items can give an "supporter" the carryness to prevent the enemy from ever catching up. A carry can also be simply the anticarry.

@EpicDrakelX he's a "tank/ semi| carry" in both roles somehow a initiator but not the best... haha found ur comment funny sorry XD but I guess you could call it an initiating skill, meaning you start with it ;) a real initiator is someone who would jump in first in a clash usually AoE skill, meaning he could set up the fight to your team's advantage. In a tank's case it would be that he could take a lot of hits without dying instantly as a distraction to the enemy team as a part of initiating...

Funny, some of my favorite heroes are supporters or babysitters, even though I play really Kamikasey.
You know like the Chaman and Nymph, or initiators like Behemoth or Magmus.
My stats are really bad because I rarely play Gankers or carries. Most carries seem boring to me and ganking can be really frustrating if your team doesn't sync with you.

In the Beginning you show us "carrys"... well there stands 5 hard-core carrys.. but Soulstealer dont deserve to stay in their circle... Hes more like a semi-carry/hard-ganger/heavy nuker/semi-initiator.... heavy nuker? yes i think so... his max dmg output is 3*300 dmg and hist ulti does over lets say 900 thats 1800 magical dmg... so thats the reason i think hes more like a ganging nuker than a hard-carry

He's a hard carry. He is a great ganker with his hands like you said. But those hands create one of the fastest farming carries in the game. He can whipe out creep waves and neutrals faster than pyro or any nuker intelligence hero. Sorry but he is one of the top hard carries.

@Gozilla1014 I can't say I agree with you but I think Nigma's point to that is, Soul Stealer's skills really can nuke but in the middle to last parts of the game he will be mostly be reliant on DPS making him a hard-carry... In most cases in the early part you could call him a nuke or other stuff but building him into a carry makes him a hard-carry, unlike other nukes being built into a carry, some just really cant be a hard-carry no matter how much they try... they tend to become semi-carry :D

tanks are usually just tanks, but in case of being somthing else they can also be gankers, and a few tanks are innitiators. It depends alot of what items you buy.
Gankers and nukers are like the same for me... maybe the different is that gankers might get more dmg than mana regen and derefore be half-carries
Babysitters are mostley supports or gankers who can make the enemy low enough the let the carry get the kill.

soulstealer and arachna can really shut people down with the denies and
they kill people so fast early game with the demons hands and the spider

I never really played dota to much I must admit. For me after playing both Hon and LOL I have decided for me Hon is the better choice, I really like HON in fact ive purchased it after beta and play it more then any other game I have. LOL for me was ok.... but for me Hon was the right choice. Instead of arguing just play them both and decide for yourself it doesnt matter what others think if you like a game play it, case closed.

"while tanks aren't usually disablers" - i highly respect this comment and is for this comment that i have quit Hon forever.
It was my understanding that tanks should rarely be heavy disablers because otherwise they would be fiercely overpowered. and one hero fits that category that was not in dota - electrician. this is why this hero is so immensely popular. so much of a tank and disabler at the same time it makes we want to barf.

HoN has lots of Original heroes, only like 50 percent are dota heroes, btw what's so fucking fun about having around 7-8 heroes to choose from and ive seen how hard it is to unlock heroes, takes about a week just to get 1, LoL is for little kids, No gold loss up
