For instance, you have East Asia then you have Asia, there is a lot of darker people. A lot of Asians, like in Korea and places get their skin whitened. But the same can be said for Whites, not all whites are pale. Most people on earth are different shades of brown, and that includes white people too. Race has more to do with skull shape (also genotype/phenotype),

So some where down the line the white person you see before you could have had black, middle eastern and even native ancestry. No I have not and that’s not entirely true a white person who has dark hair and dark eyes can still be of full European descent and still has white facial features just like the others with blonde hair and blue eyes but too some degree its true that some people from Europe may have some middle eastern ancestry but that’s going back thousands of years and to be honest blonde hair blue eyed is somewhat rare you might as well compare northern Germans with Norwegians Swedes with light skined whites.

Asian in UK is more commonly given to indian,pakistani etc in my experience, its still correct to call chinese and japs asian too obv, like Asian movies I think Jap. Asian youth's I think pakistani. @rheya19 i STILL think all white/black people look the same. Its usually like that from general perspective until you get to know an individual. Then they start to look different. But i'm not offended at all when I get mistaken for different things. It happens

How the heck could they think white people look Smellier when you can have blond brown and black hair plus the diffferent ranges of eyes colour u can have a really pale looking white person and then on the other hand have a dark looking white person and they look nothing alike but are both Genetically white.

@charlieiscool1000 Ya but the white race has mixed so much with other races that the purity of the features are gone. So some where down the line the white person you see before you could have had black, middle eastern and even native ancestry. Asians haven't really mixed much and therefore hold on to their dominant features hence why people think they all look a like. Have you ever been to Germany and seen 10 blond blue eyed guys in one place believe me it can get confusing as well.

No I have not and that’s not entirely true a white person who has dark hair and dark eyes can still be of full European descent and still has white facial features just like the others with blonde hair and blue eyes but too some degree its true that some people from Europe may have some middle eastern ancestry but that’s going back thousands of years and to be honest blonde hair blue eyed is somewhat rare you might as well compare northern Germans with Norwegians Swedes with light skined whites.

The untrained eye is the key line in this joke.
Asian in UK is more commonly given to indian,pakistani etc in my experience, its still correct to call chinese and japs asian too obv, like Asian movies I think Jap. Asian youth's I think pakistani. I know many chinese ppl and I could quite easily get other east asians mixed up but not always as my eye is trained.

I know this is all supposed to be excusable because it's comedy but it's really annoying when people assume all people of a particular group are exactly the same. And Asians don't all look alike, not any more than whites or blacks do. If you place a Korean, a Filipino, a Cambodian, an Indian, a Chinese, a Burmese, a Japanese (and so on) next to each other, you'd see how diverse this group people call "Asians" really are.

@xxSoLovely when people say asians they generally just mean oriental people.. hope i'm using the right term. They don't include indians and pakis and arabs and everyone in the middle east even though they're from the continent of asia. Asian pretty much just means chinese,japanese,korean, etc.

@Netjack First, I'm assuming you're from the US as we don't use the term "Asian" (in popular usage) that way in the UK or Australia but that's a different issue. Second, I think you missed the point of my comment or perhaps I wasn't clear enough. What I meant was that not all Asians, even the East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc.) you're referring to look alike and simplifying the people of one continent isn't a great thing to do because the people and cultures of Asia are so diverse.

@jediguardian1 yeah, I think I read something similar, said that japanese male average height is lik 175, where chinese is 173, but it said that it was only during the late 20th century where japan became wealthy and parts of china had nutrient deficiency. well, I'd like to keep an eye on the long run.
