@shale0984 No they don't. From the factory they're right around 5100 to 5200 depending on options with driver in it. With me being in race trim I tip in at 4900 with me in it with seats pulled and front sway bar off with a 10pt. cage in it.

This Jeep is coming to us for some upgrades. Redoing the fuel system, updating the turbos, and redoing the intercooler. Bill is looking to be the first SRT8 Jeep in the 8's for 2012. Can't wait to get the job rolling and see what this beast can REALLY do! Stay tuned everyone.

The reason a few have converted to RWD is because if you lift the front left off the ground, the transfer case can over spin and when it sets back down, you can break the transfer case much easier. Also, it saves about 400 pounds switching to RWD.

Not sure but I have heard that they convert it to rwd because the computer senses to much slipped in the front tires and it cuts the power output. But that's only what I have heard.

Yes, It is currently the worlds quickest Jeep.

It launched on the 2-step at 3000 rpm (4.5 psi boost) on the NAG1 tranny brake.

17" M&H drag radials on the back.

426 by Arrington engines puts 1142 hp to the tires!

Twin 67 Precision turbos.

This is currently the fastest anyone has seen. Pretty fast on a +2500' DA day. This Jeep put down 1142rwhp. Boost was not turned all the way up for this run. Jeep still runs full interior with a 10 pt. cage. Race weight in the neighborhood of 4500-4700. Come Nov. at the finals of the Modern Hemi Shootout in Atco, NJ., it should run a much lower number and other builds that could be comparable should be there as well.
