When I saw that Mike's bed was filled with kids I wondered where she'd sleep and then this little picture popped into my head... Sully standing in front of his lean-to with a big fire going. "You can sleep with me, Dr. Mike. I'll keep you warm." And then she sat in the rocking chair. *Sigh*
my school is doing this play but in modern times i'm supposted to speak with a new york accent does any one have a tip for it? my charters are supposted to be in a gang.
Poor Myra. and Mike taking in all those kids...you might mean well but it's something that can backfire. Especially not taking her own kid's feelings into consideration.
@zacefronhottie13 This is a bit late (and you may have found out by now), but Horace and Myra get married during the 2-part episode called Return Engagement (end of season 2).
OH HELL NO!! I hate takin care of myself i aint taking in no bad ass kids. no offense someday i do plan on giving a child a hm. but Dr. Mike already had 3 wat the hell she need more 4?
Hey! I remember this movie! I watched it in the fourth grade! This movie was ok i guess. The Orphan train I like is the book series by Joan Lowry Nixon! I just got done reading the book about Peg's adventures with Miss Hennessey and how they have vital information that could save the Union! I felt so sad about what happened to Danny. :'(
Unfortunately so many of these Orphan Train children were "adopted" as farm laborers. I can't recall if there were orphan trains in this time period or if it's another example of the writers playing fast and loose with history. In any event, thanks for sharing. :)
I think after they filmed the episodes they rearranged some of the "filler" episodes where nothing too important happens, maybe that's why Matthew's hair keeps going long then short.
Thank you,, we have added this to our playlists here, and on facebook, thanks...

"What do you think I'm doing?"
Haha, wrong thing to say to a doctor when you're smoking, kiddo. Especially underage.

Y'know the Rev. is an airhead most episodes, but it's really too bad he never found a nice lady...he'd have made a great dad.

haha, can't believe she took all of those kids in. but honestly, those poor children, probably most were "adopted" for labour.

I was so curious I read up on it. The writers were correct, these trains ran from the 1850s through the 1930s.

Matthew's hair has changed length a lot in the past couple episodes. It goes from being short to long to short again.
