i love gothic metal alot, the meaning & lyrics are so deep, but i can never distinguish some of this music from other metal bands. they are so similar in sound! Evanescence, Nightwish, etc, are exceptions, they are successful because they stand out.

@darkgurux Well it kinda does, the music is fine, but it still sounds identical to every other european band out there, there not doing anything new or anything to set themselves apart from any other band thats painfully similar. Thus they are not pioneers in anything and aren't memorable in any way.
Sorry but I'm just very dissapointed that it seems that every european band rigidly sounds like this. I mean, its even to much to ask for a male singer in a band of this sort every once in a while.

@teamganja666 Good for you! I hate it when people diss goths and emos and say they're not individual because they all dress the same which is a lie. They all wear the same style, but it changes per person. I think I'm part goth, part hippy (if that's possible) lol.
